  • Skills:Expertise with optimization tools (GUROBI, CPLEX, etc.), Generative AI and data science techniques (predictive modeling, clustering).

    Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++.

    Strong analytical, modeling, and visualization skills.

    Excellent business acumen and problem-solving abilities.

    Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

    Project management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

· Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data and cloud engineering projects for the next-generation Air Traffic Management (ATM) platform.

· Collaborate closely with engineering, data, and domain teams to define scope, milestones, and delivery plans aligned with business objectives.

· Drive Agile/Scrum practices, manage backlogs, conduct sprint ceremonies, and ensure transparency of progress and risks.

· Coordinate dependencies across batch and streaming pipelines, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and data platforms (e.g., Databricks).

o Track and manage risks, issues, and changes proactively, ensuring timely mitigation and stakeholder communication.

o Ensure project deliverables meet high standards of quality, security, and compliance, especially in regulated or safety-critical environments.

o Manage vendor engagement, technical documentation, and project reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

o Champion continuous improvement by identifying delivery bottlenecks and facilitating retrospectives and action plans.

Qualifications


• Proven experience managing technical projects involving cloud-native architectures and data engineering platforms.


• Strong understanding of AWS services and data platforms such as Databricks, with the ability to engage confidently with engineering teams.


• Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams, with proficiency in project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).


• Ability to manage complex timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple technical workstreams.


• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a structured approach to risk and issue management.


• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications


• Experience managing projects involving AWS, Databricks, Delta Lake, and modern data architectures (e.g., Lakehouse).


• Exposure to AI/Gen AI initiatives, intelligent agent workflows, or advanced analytics use cases.


• Familiarity with aviation data standards (e.g., ADS-B, ARINC 424, flight schedules) or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn domain-specific concepts.


• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or AWS Solutions Architect – Associate.


• Background in delivering high-performance, real-time, or large-scale data systems in regulated or safety-critical environments.

What you’ll achieve

You Will:

  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate and deploy AI applications on client devices with backend cloud integration
  • Work across a diverse set of telemetry collection and deployment environments inclusive of client endpoint OSes, real-time operating systems, and embedded firmware ecosystems
  • Develop AI/ML software solutions tailored for client silicon using strong knowledge of client device ecosystem nuances and complexities
  • Conduct experiments to train, tune, and optimize Machine Learning / Deep Learning models for delivery onto client devices
  • Translate business questions into compelling use cases and provide insights using data and statistical methods as well as tell stories using data; Advocate and execute strategies to adopt data and data science in all business and technical conclusions

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in AI/ML, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other Engineering & Scientific fields with a significant quantitative component; Bachelors + 8 years, MS + 5 years, Ph.D. + 2 years minimum
  • Solid experience developing for Microsoft (MS) Windows OS to include client Software Development Kits (SDKs), MS DirectML, WinML, MS Graph and experience with embedded device development in at least one RTOS
  • Progressive knowledge of AI / ML algorithms, particularly in the Generative AI domain, as well as in AI/ML optimization techniques for delivering models and algorithms into resource-constrained environments with advanced experience with Deep Learning libraries and runtimes such as PyTorch, Tensor Flow, TensorRT, and nuances of their application in end-user ecosystems
  • Solid communicator with the ability to explain difficult analytical methods to technical and business stakeholders
  • Experience working in software development or other cross-functional teams, with strong mentorship, and coaching skills

Desirable skills

  • Experience working with cloud-based applications in Azure as well as leading small teams

  • Responsible for health and quality of the code across the portfolio, including leadership over innovation, functional testing, and CI/CD tool integration

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related STEM fields. PhD degree preferred
  • Proven track record on producing outstanding research results (Journal and/or Conference publications, and patterns) is a must.
  • 2+ years full lifecycle product development and engineering leadership in highly available, highly scalable, high throughput systems
  • 2+ years of experience in building and delivering sophisticated solutions that leverage various AI solutions, machine learning algorithms or technologies and are able to scale optimally.
  • Expert in at least one of the following fields:

Functional Description
Decision Science colleagues will serve as a key member of the Credit and Fraud Risk organization. We seek a thought-leader and a problem-solver who can blend business, technical, and industry best practices when it comes to developing the analyses, models, and algorithms that power our customers’ digital experiences.
This critical team is responsible for managing enterprise risks throughout the customer lifecycle, across our consumer and commercial businesses, and across all our global products. We develop industry-first data capabilities, build profitable decision-making frameworks, create machine learning-powered predictive models, and improve customer servicing strategies.

Our Decision Science teams use industry leading modeling and AI practices to predict customer behavior. We develop, deploy and validate predictive models and support the use of models in economic logic to enable profitable decisions across credit, fraud, marketing and servicing optimization engines


Responsibilities :

  • Work with massive amounts of digital data (Web, App, API) and sophisticated tools in an industry leading Big Data environment.
  • Planning and delivering of high performing models, meeting agreed deadlines and ensuring accurate, efficient implementation of models in production systems
  • Learning industry developments and best practices, conducting research and development to incorporate best in class modelling methodologies and share with the team
  • Performing annual reviews, performance monitoring reviews, retrains and remediation activity on models as required
  • Build everything from basic reports to advanced machine learning models and algos to drive improvements to our customer’s online and mobile app experiences.
  • Work with product owners to revolutionize the product and content design with a data-driven approach
  • Collaborate with tech partners to test, implement and deploy modeling solutions to production system.
  • Develop insights into customer behavior and introduce new approaches to transform complex behavioral data into actionable information
  • Leverage the power of closed loop through Amex network to make decisions more intelligent and relevant
  • Innovate with a focus on developing newer and better approaches using big data & machine learning solutions
  • Lead, engage, and inspire a large team of high performing risk management professionals

Qualifications:
  • PhDs in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Operation Research and etc.) with hands-on experience leveraging sophisticated analytical and machine learning techniques. PhD degree with practical experiences NLP is a significant plus.
  • Expertise in an analytical language (Python, R or the equivalent), and experience with databases (Hive, SQL, or the equivalent). Knowledge of SAS is a plus but not required.
  • Deep understanding of machine learning/statistical algorithms such as deep learning and boosting. Experience with data visualization is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to frame business problems into mathematical programming problems, leverage external thinking and tools (from academia and/or other industries) to engineer a solution and deliver business insights.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Independent thinker who’s organized, has great attention to detail, and can multi-task
  • Strong communication skills
