A Carbon Senior Art Director / Art Director is a position of great creative responsibility. It’s your artistic genius that gives birth to original ideas that become the creative products our clients pay for. The same ideas will inspire design teams to do their best work bringing them to life and will instill confidence in the account and production teams to stand behind them. A SAD / AD is a true conceptualist that can articulate their thoughts and ideas through various creative methods and then guide the creative process to final execution.
Your responsibilities are (but not limited to):
Lead or contribute to conceptual brainstorms and kick offs to create thought provoking ideas that align with client needs and objectives
Collaborate with the production team to identify suitable talent, locations and vendors for filming and photography
Be solutions lead in helping to prevent and resolve creative problems that may affect the creative process and final output
Create compelling design assets and animations for an array of media including web, social, mobile, digital display and offline
Confidently work across one or more workstreams and projects at any given time ensuring timelines and creative objectives are met
Assist in the creation of mood boards, story boards and other design collateral that supports the creative process
When required support the management team with training of new employees on software, systems and creative processes
When required present creative ideas and design work to clients while ensuring feedback is communicated back to the creative and project teams

Working directly with our Senior Art Director and Creative Director, the Art Director will be responsible for guiding the creative visual and graphic design direction across all visual communication touch points, ensuring that design assets align with the brand’s identity, strategy, and goals. Working closely with marketing, web, and product teams, the Art Director will focus on executing high-quality graphic designs that reflect the brand's identity & narrative while achieving the business' commercial goals. - Lead the development of visually appealing content across print, digital, and presentation formats
- Collaborate with designers, freelancers, and production partners to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects
- Manage timelines, resources, and creative workflows to meet project deadlines and specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
- 6-8 years of experience in graphic/multimedia design, with at least 2 years in a managerial/project management role
- Strong versatile portfolio showcasing branding, storytelling, layout, and campaign execution
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong project and time management skills
- Ability to think creatively and analytically, balancing aesthetic and strategic priorities
- Experience with video editing, motion graphics, and visual effects for short-form digital content
