We are looking for an experienced and strategic Food Safety & Compliance Lead to lead food safety and regulatory efforts across relevant APAC countries. Your Mission
- Lead the food safety and compliance agenda across 6 countries, overseeing local execution through direct reports in each market
- Build and maintain high standards for food safety, hygiene, and regulated product compliance (e.g., tobacco, pharmacy, alcohol)
- Develop and implement regional frameworks for HACCP, SOPs, food recall management, and issue resolution
- Design and roll out internal audit programs, dashboards, and regional scorecards with clear KPIs and action plans
- Coach and develop your country-level food safety managers, ensuring alignment with regional strategy and local execution
- Be the senior point of contact for regulatory bodies, supporting high-level discussions and risk management
- Ensure business continuity and food safety readiness across all countries, especially during incidents or crises
- 6+ years of experience in food safety, compliance, or quality management, ideally with regional oversight
- Proven track record leading multi-country teams and managing distributed direct reports
- Strong knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP, ISO 22000, GHP) and regulated product compliance
- Confident in managing stakeholders across operations, legal, and government agencies
- Analytical mindset, excellent communicator, and hands-on when needed
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel across the region based on needs

The Food Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with Sodexo APAC HSE standards, Client EHS standards, and all local regulations regarding hygiene, food safety, and occupational health and safety. This role supports the continuous improvement of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance across all Sodexo-managed Client sites in the region.
Key Responsibilities 1. Compliance & Implementation- Ensure compliance with Sodexo APAC HSE standards, Client EHS standards, and local food safety and occupational health regulations.
- Support the review and implementation of the annual HSE improvement plan and roadmap.
- Provide technical advice on relevant legislation (e.g. Food & Occupational Safety Acts), FSMS (Food Safety Management System), internal HACCP programs, and HSMS (Health & Safety Management System).
- Monitor and implement Sodexo's Health & Safety policies and programs at all Client sites.
- Support all new site mobilizations with food and workplace safety compliance.
