For more information, visit Key Responsibilities: Providing clear and concise direction to the engineering team on their deliverable, supervising their work, and driving product releases/project completion as per the timelines decided. Lead technical solution designs with the entire team; be a sounding board & guide the team for any tech-related issue. Work closely with the product managers and designers to refine stories, discuss, and finalize release timelines, and attend relevant meetings with stakeholders. Communicate technical direction to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Provide guidance to ensure the overall architecture and solutions are very well designed for the long-term while also driving a pragmatic approach to deliver results in phases that is aligned with business value. Ensure optimal application of engineering resources to meet product development and consumer requirements and ensures the implementation of agile processes. Design the entire solution from ideation and visual design through the SDLC, life cycle activities such as extending or updating a system, planning retirement of a system. Getting hands-on with code rollouts as and when required to ensure releases go out in a timely and accurate fashion. Hands-on experience with third party integration would be an advantage. Hire, onboard and build a team of capable engineers across India, both in-house and through outsourced agencies. The Employee, as per business needs, may be required to undertake any other such duties as may be assigned in line with the employee’s position, skills, and capabilities. Requirements: 8+ years of Engineering experience, with at least last 3 years as an Engineering Manager preferably across a start-up / mid-sized company Experience of building and growing a team is highly preferred. Candidates must have an experience of managing in-house engineers, as well as the outsourced ones. Excellent communication, able to manage multiple stakeholders across other departments in the organization Hands-on software engineer who can just roll up his / her sleeves anytime to make various changes in the code and design, as necessary. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the engineering team to meet both design and project requirements, ensuring technical integrity, safety, and quality
• Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of complex engineering projects , including the preparation of specifications, detailed technical drawings, and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

1. Workshop & Fleet Management

Oversee daily operations of the workshop, ensuring efficient repair and maintenance of cranes, heavy vehicles, and related equipment. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Ensure proper troubleshooting and diagnostics of mechanical and electrical issues. Monitor spare parts inventory, procurement, and cost control.

2. Team Leadership & Workforce Management

Lead, supervise, and develop a team of technicians and mechanics with different skill levels. Assign tasks effectively and ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair work. Implement performance evaluations and provide training to improve skill levels and productivity. Address productivity issues, including inefficiencies and unnecessary overtime claims.

3. Safety & Compliance

Ensure all repair and maintenance work is carried out in compliance with workplace safety regulations. Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices within the workshop. Conduct periodic inspections and audits to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

4. Cost Management & Process Improvement

Control workshop expenses, including labor, spare parts, and consumables. Identify areas for productivity improvement and cost reduction. Implement structured workflow processes to prevent unproductive overtime and enhance efficiency. Work closely with other departments to align engineering support with operational needs.

5. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and service history. Generate reports on workshop productivity, expenses, and breakdown trends. Provide recommendations for upgrades, replacements, or new equipment acquisitions.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

2. Minimum 5–8 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.

3. Hands-on experience with SANY cranes, heavy machinery, and transport fleet maintenance is a strong advantage.

4. In-depth knowledge of SANY cranes, hydraulic systems, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical repairs.

5. Experience in workshop management, scheduling, and workflow optimization.

6. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex SANY equipment failures.

7. Proficiency in using maintenance management software is an advantage.

8. Strong leadership and people management skills.
