• Responsible for performing preventive maintenance on machinery used in production department.
• In charge of planning and performing tasks related to facilities, upgrading and repairing machinery and equipment.
• Responsible for troubleshooting machinery malfunctions.
• Take charge of maintaining updated records of repairs and completed preventative maintenance work.
• Responsible for identifying and purchasing critical spares for preventive maintenance.
• Responsible for identifying probable causes of potential failure of machinery & equipment and arrange for preventive repair and replacement to minimize machine downtime.
• In charge of maintain good housekeeping practices in maintenance work area and stores.
• Responsible for ensuring Compliance of in-house safety rules and procedures by all vendors
• In charge of supervising contractors performing maintenance jobs
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:

• Min Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Precision/ Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
• Min 5 years working experience in CNC machines and equipment maintenance and repair works in the manufacturing environment
• Min 5 years working experience in building facilities in the manufacturing environment

About The Job

The primary role is to execute Electrical maintenance to the optimum level of performance for safe, reliable and efficient operation of the plant.

Job responsibilities:

• Compliance to HSSE standards and requirements to make Aster Jurong Island (AJI) a safe place to work, and accountable for all assigned Critical activities.
• Perform Authorized Applicant and/or Authorized Engineer as per AJI Permit to Work (e-PTW) requirement.
• Provides day-to-day hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting including contractor/specialist management for all Electrical maintenance related matters, delivered with high safety standards, comply to authorities such as EMA ACT, Electricity ACT, local industrial and company HSE standards to ensure the equipment validity and availability.
• Participate FAT/SAT and Functional testing to ensure electrical equipment’s are meeting the design intent when required.
• Responsible for carrying out preventive as well as corrective maintenance works and ensuring plant equipment availability.
• Participate in AMS ME assessment and determine Electrical equipment maintenance task and schedule.
• Prepares job specifications and costing for works involved and apply work clearance / permit for work execution.
• Shall be conversant with HSE and Permit to work requirements in petroleum and petrochemical industry.
• Participate and execute for Turnaround/ pitstop events in related Process Units (PUs).
• Perform electrical equipment condition monitoring whenever required & liaise with relevant subject matter experts/specialist/OEM to address any arising issues, problems & concerns.
• In order to ensure AJI’s assets operate safely & reliably, without suffering any process safety incident or causing life-changing events to person(s), the staff is accountable to ensure compliance to those Critical Activities assigned for the Job Position.
• Provide good documentation to ensure all equipment technical records and drawings are updated to reflect the latest changes.
• Maintains work requests and records on maintenance works using computerized maintenance management systems, GSAP-PM.
• Attend callout to the Emergency work upon request.
• To carry out electrical QC checks including insulation resistance test, continuity test, loop check, motor winding resistance test.
• To report timely to EIQ Lead engineer on the progress of work, issues encountered.
  
  

• Diploma/ITE in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Electrical construction/ installation in oil & gas, chemical & petrochemical industry.
• Holder of AWSHPP (Supervisor) certification for petrochemical industry.
• Qualified MOM man-hole (Supervisor) and confined space entrant.

This position is designed for an experienced electrical engineer who can assist in a variety of tasks related to electrical installations and maintenance.

• Attend site surveys, meetings, and discussions with clients, contractors, and subcontractors as required. Provide feasible solutions and coordinate with owners, users, consultants, vendors, and contractors on engineering functional requirements.
• Prepare reports and method statements whenever necessary. Perform all electrical works in accordance with regulations and guidelines under supervision.
• Assist in carrying out regular site inspections on LT and HT installations to ensure effective implementation of maintenance programmes.
• Stand by and partner with Lead Electrical Engineer in attending to emergency call-up services at customer installations. Investigate and determine the root cause of faults and report where applicable.
• Interpret basic schematics and SLD diagrams. Required to take on a Specialist Equipment role, may be sent to receive specialised training and subsequently provide training to internal staff.
• Plan and execute corrective or preventive maintenance programmes. Participate in and support Annual Shutdown exercises as and when required. Ensure proper housekeeping of spare parts, equipment, and tools.
• Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical systems. Provide excellent service to meet client expectations. Ensure all works carried out safely and/or in accordance with safety procedures.

• Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum one year's experience in electrical engineering environment
• Training provided for entry-level

• Data analysis skill to perform in-depth analysis of testing data collected from the field
• Good team player to work closely with the engineering team to understand operation of various electrical equipment and systems
• Willing to learn how to use various Condition monitoring software, sensors, testing instruments
• Participate in-house training sessions or workshops to enhance skills in data analysis
• Collaborate with team members to share insights and knowledge
• Able to understand High Voltage Electrical Network
• Microsoft Office in expert mode to prepare test reports and presentation materials

Inspect and maintain mechanical and electrical systems, fire systems and kitchen equipment in a busy hotel environment. Perform shift duties and respond to work requests from the hotel's maintenance system.
