About The Job
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for day-to-day corrective and proactive maintenance and/or troubleshooting upgrading for all electrical engineering related matters.
Responsible for coaching maintenance assistant engineers, technicians and closely supervises contractors' personnel activities and ensuring optimum usage of contractor manpower.
Responsible for prioritizing, scheduling and conducting maintenance execution work process on all electrical equipment-related works in the PU to ensure quality maintenance carried out in an effective and efficient manner.
Responsible for maintenance of electrical equipment including identifying and purchasing of inventory
Prepare job specification of the electrical maintenance team.
Provide constructive feedback/technical advice/input to Operations staff in the PU and his/her maintenance team on electrical matters.
Seek continual improvement in technology, procedures and techniques to improve electrical equipment performance.
Responsible for maintaining work requests planning and records on maintenance works using SAP system.
Planning/preparing/monitoring budget for all electrical maintenance work and executes the works within the budget.
Manage and lead electrical troubleshooting including cross dicipline support management for electrical equipment.
Represent Maintenance Electrical for the project handover ensuring all required information and spares are in handed over in proper and good order.
Ensure electrical maintenance team and contractors comply with HSSE standards and participate in audits
Participate in standby duty
Job Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas/Pharmaceutical industries.
Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) will be advantage.
Skilled in executing maintenance work and managing the contractors on site.
Skilled on SAP,CMMS, permit to work system.
Good interpersonal skills and team player.
Knowledge and hands on experience in trouble shooting equipment failures and repair schemes.
Knowledge and experience in LV/HV motors, generators, plant lightings, UPS, switchboards, etc.

About The Job

The primary role is to execute Electrical maintenance to the optimum level of performance for safe, reliable and efficient operation of the plant.

Job responsibilities:

• Compliance to HSSE standards and requirements to make Aster Jurong Island (AJI) a safe place to work, and accountable for all assigned Critical activities.
• Perform Authorized Applicant and/or Authorized Engineer as per AJI Permit to Work (e-PTW) requirement.
• Provides day-to-day hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting including contractor/specialist management for all Electrical maintenance related matters, delivered with high safety standards, comply to authorities such as EMA ACT, Electricity ACT, local industrial and company HSE standards to ensure the equipment validity and availability.
• Participate FAT/SAT and Functional testing to ensure electrical equipment’s are meeting the design intent when required.
• Responsible for carrying out preventive as well as corrective maintenance works and ensuring plant equipment availability.
• Participate in AMS ME assessment and determine Electrical equipment maintenance task and schedule.
• Prepares job specifications and costing for works involved and apply work clearance / permit for work execution.
• Shall be conversant with HSE and Permit to work requirements in petroleum and petrochemical industry.
• Participate and execute for Turnaround/ pitstop events in related Process Units (PUs).
• Perform electrical equipment condition monitoring whenever required & liaise with relevant subject matter experts/specialist/OEM to address any arising issues, problems & concerns.
• In order to ensure AJI’s assets operate safely & reliably, without suffering any process safety incident or causing life-changing events to person(s), the staff is accountable to ensure compliance to those Critical Activities assigned for the Job Position.
• Provide good documentation to ensure all equipment technical records and drawings are updated to reflect the latest changes.
• Maintains work requests and records on maintenance works using computerized maintenance management systems, GSAP-PM.

• To carry out electrical QC checks including insulation resistance test, continuity test, loop check, motor winding resistance test.

• Maintain and repair electrical machines, kitchen equipment, and other hotel equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on guest rooms and public areas to ensure optimal functioning of all systems.
• Record all jobs done and recommendations in the checklist for future reference.
• Identify and report any abnormality encountered during equipment checks.
• Assist in the operation and maintenance of chilled water plants and hot water systems.
• Support the Shift Engineer in servicing works of air handling units and fan coil units.
• Maintain emergency generators and conduct regular test runs according to schedule.
• Collaborate with the Security department during fire drill exercises and respond to any fire-related matters.
• Respond to Knowcross calls in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in plant facility, hospitality, property management operation & maintenance environment. A diploma or higher Nitec certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Building Services or Facilities Technology from a recognized training institute is also required.

This role requires an independent and responsible individual with excellent communication skills.
