Job Responsibilities
- Act as the main liaison to ensure smooth communication and document flow between the client and the internal project team
- Oversee the management of all drawings, including updating, storing, and distributing to the relevant parties
- Manage and submit Project Control Management (PCM) documents and ensure all required paperwork is filed and tracked
- Process and track payment requests to ensure timely payments for the project

- To verify the correct drawing no, location of welding & welder identification numbers
- To check the line no or ISO no in the drawing and time of inspection, root gap, root face and bevel angle and also section measured
- If any rejected and wrong welding in the reports, inform to the welding inspectors to re-weld or repair the particular welding metals based on the drawings
- Verified and calculated all the approved welding materials and also specifications in the system
- Update NDT reports like UT, RT, MPI an empty gap, etc
- To update and check all the system service code in the reports based on the ISO numbers
- Responsible for all the incoming & outgoing documents from client & company contractors
- Control of all the incoming documents & also updating profiles of the documents are registering & maintaining in the excel file
- Responsible for uploading all the incoming electronic documents & proper filling for all the hard copy of the documents
- Preparing for transmittals and issuing Clients, Sub-contractors and also Vessel Owner
- To ensure assigning transmittal number for outgoing documents

Our major Oil & Gas Downstream Client is urgently looking for Document Controller who will implement and maintain the Assai Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) for the project, ensuring proper configuration to meet project needs. You will ensure engineering deliverables from the engineering contractor are properly reviewed and meet document control and archiving requirements.
- Implement and enforce document control procedures and policies across the project
- Ensure adherence to established work processes and workflows for the document control team
- Manage the full document lifecycle for all project and portfolio documents
- Maintain a central document repository and enforce version control to avoid discrepancies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, organize, and manage all project documentation effectively
- Manage vendor document submissions to ensure timely receipt, proper review, approval, and archiving in line with project requirements
- Conduct regular internal and external audits to verify compliance with document control procedures and regulatory requirements
- Train team members and stakeholders on document control processes, tools, and best practices.
- Provide timely support and resolve document-related issues for project teams as needed
- Ensure that RMLU (Red Marked Up) and As-built drawings and documents are updated in the EDMS on time, as part of project close-out and handover to the asset owner
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve document control processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy
- Generate regular reports and metrics on document control activities for management review
