Roles & Responsibilities:

Assist the project manager with on and off-site meetings pertaining to technical issues

Responsible for submission of Architectural samples, shop drawings, and other related documents to the consultants or authorities

Coordinate and monitor work progress at the site including periodical site inspection and attend meetings during the course of the project

Able to coordinate well with sub-contractors, RE, and RTO

Development of Procedures, detailed Engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications

Plan monthly work schedules and set productivity to be achieved

Conduct Material Take Off (MTO) and management of List of Materials (LOM) to monitor the progress of projects

Verify technical specifications for adequacy

Disseminate technical specifications to the supervisor

Identify and record any product quality problems and implement solutions

Job Requirements:

Diploma / Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or its equivalent

Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in Singapore Projects

Familiar with construction sequence and Method Statement or different trade

Able to read construction/shop drawings and understand detailing

Understand ISO 9001 clauses and being able to implement / audit procedures is an added advantage

Must be able to monitor project KPI requirements

We are seeking a results-driven construction engineer to manage our construction project. You will be contributing to the planning and design of the project, allocating resources to each of the project's stages, and overseeing the engineering processes of our construction project.

To ensure success as a construction engineer, you should demonstrate extensive experience as a construction engineer and the ability to provide leadership. An accomplished construction engineer will be someone whose expertise in construction engineering results in constructions that are cost-effective and structurally sound.

Construction Engineer Responsibilities:

Managing the planning and design stages of construction projects.

Contributing technical expertise to project drawings and designs.

Performing cost calculations and preparing financial projections.

Preparing work schedules in collaboration with the project manager.

Liaising between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.

Overseeing construction engineering processes.

Performing regular tests on materials and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Ensuring that the construction project is completed on time and within budget.

Documenting processes and keeping detailed construction logs.

Presenting construction project progress updates to clients and senior managers.

Construction Engineer Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, civil engineering technology, or similar.

State-approved license.

At least 2 years experience as a construction engineer in the relevant field of specialization.

Advance proficiency in construction management software, such as BuildSmart and Smartsheet.

In-depth knowledge of construction industry regulations.

Exceptional leadership, project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Great mathematical, organizational, and time-management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.

Availability to visit the construction site outside of business hours, when relevant.

Job Description

· Work closely with the Project Team on identifying the customer's needs and expectations. Site Survey and measurement.

· Support the Project Team on administrative works such as handling customer enquiries, preparing tender documentation, technical and material specifications and daily project reports (photos etc).

· Arrange meetings and monitor progress of the project works to ensure the projects are is on schedule, within budget and completed with good quality.

· Prepare workers' worksite schedule and logistics arrangement.

· Coordinate with key stakeholders such as contractors, customers, QE/PE to meet authorities requirements and obtain the permits required for project completion.

· Upon completion of project, ensure proper project handover and follow up on maintenance services.

Requirements

· This is a non-executive position with at least 3 years relevant work experience.

· Proactive, committed, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Possess initiative and ability to work independently.

· Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Class 3 driving license is required
