As Lead Project Execution – Site Management, you are responsible for steering the execution phase of new construction projects on-site. Your leadership ensures that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, on time, and in a controlled manner.
You will work within the Large Projects Offshore Netherlands (LON) team, specifically in Yard Management, overseeing the GE Vernova Seatrium platform portfolio. This includes three HVDC offshore converter platforms being built in Singapore and Batam, to be installed in the North Sea and connected to the grid at Maasvlakte, Rotterdam.
Your Responsibilities Include
- Ensuring the preparation, organization, and management of construction site activities and site staff.
- Monitoring cost development and progress according to schedule.
- Reviewing and accepting delivered work.
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders about progress, costs, and schedules.
- Preparing reports, evaluations, and safety documentation to project leadership.
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental standards.
Your profile and background
We are looking for a professional with strong technical and leadership skills who can inspire teams and manage complex infrastructure projects.
You Bring
- A Master’s degree (MSc or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Extensive experience in the design and construction of Offshore Wind Substations.
- Proven leadership in team development and management.
- A successful track record in offshore or infrastructure projects.
- Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus), with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical thinking, a structured approach, and a result-driven mindset.
- Medical fitness for offshore work and willingness to obtain GWO certification.
- Willingness to relocate to Singapore with an expat policy under a Dutch contract.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Forecasts and communicates engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers. Provides input to outsourcing decisions by performing make versus buy analysis. Coordinates demand signals through MRP to minimize inventory exposure.
+ Leads Materials Core Team and coordinates product development process deliverables through matrix management of buyers, planners, and production control. Collaborates with engineering team to interpret engineering requirements.
+ With limited/ no supervision, creates, releases and updates new project materials strategy.
+ Sourcing: Assists in supplier price and delivery negotiations; under direct supervision may negotiate contracts as necessary. Utilizes the preferred supplier selection and assessment process when selecting suppliers. Completes supplier risk assessment on critical and unique parts. Monitors supplier performance (delivery, quality, cost).
+ Materials: Coordinates activities around source selection, specification creation and price negotiation with appropriate team members.
