The Role

We’re looking for a Head of Data Science & Analytics to lead our data vision, transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that power decisions, fuel product innovation, and drive growth. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and have deep experience in trading platforms or crypto ecosystems, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale a global data team (data scientists, analysts, and data engineers)
  • Define the company’s data strategy across analytics, machine learning, and real-time intelligence
  • Build predictive models for user behavior, market activity, fraud detection, and performance optimization
  • Champion data governance, quality, and infrastructure in collaboration with engineering leads

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
  • 8+ years in data science/analytics, with 3+ years in leadership roles. Proven experience in fintech, trading platforms, or crypto exchanges preferred
  • Deep expertise in predictive modeling, machine learning, and large-scale analytics
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Airflow)
  • Experience working with real-time data streams and high-volume transactional environments
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance hands-on work and leadership
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese to influence across product, tech, and executive teams across different countries.

About The Role

  • Design, develop, and enhance user-facing features of the organisation's Generative AI applications, with a strong focus on improving user experience and usability.
  • As a full-stack developer, you will not only work on front-end applications but also troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance backend functionalities.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders and technical peers by understanding, prioritizing, and negotiating requirements.


What We Are Looking For

  • A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, combined with at least 2 years of experience in developing both client-side and server-side applications.
  • Preferred proficiency and practical experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Preferred proficiency in Python for backend application.
  • Knowledge and experience in any of the modern web frameworks and technologies such as Node.js, ReactJS, Remix and WebSocket will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with development tools like Git or similar for version control and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
