What you will be working on

The Data Science Accelerator Department (DSA) drives the pervasive use of data across CPF Board to aid policy and operational decision making by providing a consolidated view of good quality data, effective governance, strong data science capabilities and modern data infrastructure and tools.
In this role, you will:

• Develop dashboards to support business depts with their monitoring and reporting requirements. In addition to clear visuals, you should value add by ensuring that the data preparation and manipulation process is efficient, the data model is properly developed.

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree's in Business Analytics, Computer Science or a related field.

• Has some experience with tools like Python, SQL, HTML and Power BI.

• Pays attention to details and interest in developing problem-solving skills. Communicates clearly, both in speaking and writing.

• Approaches problems with a flexible mindset and adjusts when project needs change.

• Works well independently and with others, takes initiative without needing constant supervision.
Position is on a full-time internship basis from January 2026 to June 2026.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Data Collection: Gathering information from diverse sources, including market data, financial reports, customer surveys, competitor analysis, and public records.
  • Data Analysis: Employing statistical tools and methods to examine data, identify trends, patterns, and insights, and conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Interpretation: Translating complex data into actionable recommendations that support strategic goals and operational efficiency.
  • Reporting: Creating detailed reports, white papers, presentations, charts, and graphs to summarize findings and convey insights to management and clients.
  • Forecasting: Predicting future performance, market trends, and the impact of market conditions on assets or companies.
  • Process Improvement: Testing and recommending improvements for business processes, policies, and protocols based on research findings.
  • Collaboration: Working with different departments to understand data needs and assist in data-driven decision-making.
  • Industry Breadth: provide a scope of industry trends and readings
  • Strategic Impact: provide a factual foundation for major business decisions, helping organizations set strategic goals, understand customers, and position themselves effectively in the market.
  • Operational Support: research on Ais tools that can increase efficiency and profitability.
