We are looking for an experienced Data Analytics/Science Manager who combines entrepreneurial mind-set, strong leadership qualities, and exceptional business acumen. This role involves steering our data team’s daily operations and driving the innovation of our data products. Your work will significantly enhance the data insights delivered to our B2B clients by utilizing a combination of internal and external datasets.

As a Data Analytics SeniorManager, you will play a pivotal role within our data team, collaborating closely with business and engineering teams. Your primary goal will be to derive actionable insights from extensive datasets, influencing strategic decisions, improving user experience, and driving product revenue growth. You will lead key projects, lead junior data scientists, and ensure data-driven approaches are integrated into business processes.
What you will be doing:
- Manage stakeholders to drive large-scale, complex data analysis projects from conception to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Understand how our investment products work and is able to present to senior management business related analysis to improve the adoption, volume and revenue of our products
- Initiate analytical projects with actionable insights and align / follow up with business leaders to ensure that key actions and interventions are carried out to drive business value
- Work with business stakeholders like product managers and our revenue team to identify the key metrics that should be tracked, and build data pipelines, analysis frameworks and dashboards to track and improve these metrics by consulting our engineering teams
- Build well thought through analysis frameworks that our business teams can follow easily to get insights on decision making
- Monitor data processes to ensure that teams can rely quality, timely and reliable data to make decisions
- Assist our business teams to plan out, build and evaluate A/B testing experiments
- Model and analyse impacts of business decisions on P&L
- Actively analyse our revenue and cost items to find initiatives to improve margins and highlight root causes when margins decline
- Effectively communicate your work with team leads and cross-functional stakeholders on a regular basis
- Drive process improvements within the data team as well as in business teams through automation or AI
- Suggest and implement improvements to company infrastructure needed to drive process improvements
- Lead junior data scientists in solving our business problems and provide both technical and career developmental guidance
- Get your hands dirty and do what is necessary to solve business problems and create value for the company
- Manage the data work streams under one or more umbrellas (e.g. product analytics, AI, marketing, finance etc)
- BS in a Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Physics or a related field with 7+ years of experience.
- Strong SQL skills. You will need to write custom queries to pull data to support your assumption and hypothesis.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Preference for Tableau).
- Experience with scripting and data analysis using Python.
- Familiarity with BigQuery and GCP would be an advantage.
- Experience working with product analytics tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel or Clevertap is greatly appreciated.
- Prior experience working with clickstream data, especially Firebase / Google analytics data would be preferred.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with good attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in an international team environment.
- Ability to be agile and flexible in adapting in a dynamic environment.
- Interest in the investment, financial sector or web3/cryptocurrency is a plus.
