Introduction
As a Data Scientist, you will be reporting to Lead Data Scientist and support in a pivotal role within the Data Science team and assist in the provision analytics technical requirements. Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with data and cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Develop, train, and refine machine learning models to support agritech innovations, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.
- Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering to enhance model performance.
- Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes to enable efficient data ingestion and transformation.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and trends that drive business decisions.
- Create visualizations and reports to communicate key findings and model performance to stakeholders.
- Work with hardware and networking teams to integrate data-driven solutions with IoT and sensor-based systems.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of data infrastructure, ensuring seamless data collection, storage, and accessibility.
- Collaborate with the MES software team to design and integrate AI Agent workflows that enhance automation and decision-making across manufacturing operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or similar for data analysis and modeling.
- Hands-on experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with SQL for data retrieval, manipulation, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with data pipeline development, ETL processes, and cloud-based data solutions is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and ability to communicate findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
