In this role, you will conduct market research and analysis for our products and services.
You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data on consumers, competitors, and the marketplace, using various sources and tools. You will also provide insights and recommendations to support our decision-making, identify market trends and opportunities, and improve our competitiveness.
Description of Tasks:
• Collect and analyze data on consumers, competitors, and the marketplace, using various sources and tools, such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, and Google Analytics
• Interpret and present the data findings and insights in reports and presentations, using charts, graphs, and tables
• Provide insights and recommendations to support our decision-making, such as product design, pricing, promotion, and distribution
• Identify and evaluate the needs, preferences, trends, and opportunities of our target market, customers, and competitors
• Monitor and evaluate the impact and performance of our products and services, using metrics and feedback
List of Qualifications:
• Degree or certification in market research, statistics, or a related field
• Proven experience as a market research analyst, preferably in the food or lifestyle industry
• Excellent data collection and analysis skills, and ability to use statistical software and tools, such as Excel and SPSS
• Knowledge of market research methods and tools, such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, and Google Analytics
• Ability to interpret and present data findings and insights in a clear and concise manner
• Passion and knowledge for meat and cooking, and ability to understand and relate to our products and services
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with good communication and critical thinking skills

JOB SCOPE
Working in our analytics and research operations team, this entry-level role will support and be involved in the end-to-end process of market research, particularly in the area of qualitative research. The key areas include but are not limited to the following:
Research, Analysis and Insights
- Assist in designing and executing qualitative research projects, including focus groups, in-depth interviews, and ethnographic studies.
- Conduct secondary research to support project objectives.
- Help develop screeners, discussion guides, and interview scripts.
- Take notes and assist in moderating qualitative research sessions.
- Analyse qualitative data, identifying key themes and insights.
- Contribute to report writing, including summarizing findings and preparing presentations.
- Collaborate with senior researchers and clients to ensure high-quality research outcomes.
- Where applicable and required, integrate qualitative and quantitative (e.g. surveys and secondary data sources) research methodologies and findings.
Project Management
- Manage or assist in project setup and fieldwork management such as scheduling interviews, recruiting participants, arranging venues, and coordinating with vendors.
- Manage project timelines and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (i.e. client relations, operations, vendors, data science, etc.) to ensure timely project completion.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATION
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, such as market research, business, or marketing.
- 1-2 years of related work/internship experience is advantageous but otherwise fresh graduates are also welcomed.
- Strong attention to detail and able to multi-task with good time management.
- Possesses great soft skills and personality – approachable, candid, go-getting, and collaborative.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
