We're looking for a Marketing Analyst, Asia to join our Marketing Channels & Performance team, supporting Qantas Group airlines throughout the region. In this key role, you'll be responsible for informing strategic marketing decisions by conducting in-depth market research and analysing consumer insights, directly influencing campaign planning and optimisation to ensure our marketing efforts are data-driven and aligned with commercial objectives, and evaluating the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and channels to identify areas for improvement.

You'll also play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our Asia marketing dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, clarity, and accessibility for regional stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical marketer who thrives on transforming complex data into clear, actionable strategies that drive campaign success.

You’ll have –

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in media or marketing analytics roles.
  • Tertiary qualification in data science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
  • Proficient in SQL and Excel for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience with analytics and marketing tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, DV360, SA360, or Adobe Campaign.
  • Skilled in Power BI with the ability to visualise and interpret complex data effectively.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and data visualisation skills, enabling you to present complex insights clearly and compellingly.
  • Able to communicate insights clearly to non-technical audiences across diverse teams.
  • Experience working in a satellite office within a large multinational organisation.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Translate investment concepts into persuasive, visually cohesive presentations aligned with HarbourVest’s brand standards.
  • Coordinate and lead all aspects of RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs, and fundraising inquiries serving as project lead to ensure timely completion of client-related materials.
  • Partner with Compliance to ensure all materials adhere to SEC marketing guidelines and maintain appropriate documentation for approvals.
Administrative Support & Content Management (20%)
  • Update and maintain HarbourVest’s global content management and support related reporting efforts.
  • Collaborate with global teams (APAC, Boston, EMEA) to align marketing initiatives and improve communication strategies worldwide.
  • Stay current with industry practices and ensure consistent messaging and tone across all materials.

Role Overview

The Senior Digital Marketing Analyst plays a key role within the Activation team. You will be encouraged to contribute suggestions on how to deliver improvements in efficiency across the business. You will also deputise for the Campaign Manager when needed and support with the training of more junior members of the team.

About The Role


  • Manage and own campaigns across paid media channels (Search, Social, Display) and platforms, optimising tactics and strategies to produce the best possible performance
  • Own campaign execution & QA within the buying platforms, proactively troubleshooting issues as they arise
  • Optimise campaign performance against forecasts, driving results for continued improvement and providing new ideas and solutions
  • Manage day-to-day contact with clients (calls and/or face-to-face) to ensure campaign planning and management is in-line with client expectations, providing feedback and data driven recommendations on how to achieve the best performance
  • Produce end-of-campaign reports which highlight deeper insight into campaign performance and learnings
  • Provide basic trafficking support as required
  • Build relationships with our platform partners to deliver best in class service and opportunities for our clients
  • Train and coach Digital Marketing Analysts to develop and grow within the team


Desired Experience And Skills


  • 1-2+ years of hands-on in-platform experience, ideally across a minimum of 2 of the following digital channels: programmatic display, video, paid search and/or paid social.
  • Passion for digital media/advertising & technology
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong ability to create and build relationships
  • Experience in client and account management
  • Ability to multitask with great attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills, and comfort with MS Excel, data analysis and internet technologies
  • Enjoyment when working as part of a team
