The Position:

• Ensure data quality is maintained at high standards and continually enhance processes based on both quantitative and qualitative feedback


• Quality assurance reviewing, verifying, editing, scoring, transcribing, copywriting, and reporting on data and/or assets across a broad scope of media and content types.

What you will do:
RFPs & Client Presentations (80%)
Develop and lead PowerPoint presentations that communicate HarbourVest’s key messages to clients and prospects, using Seismic (content management system).
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, investor relations, investments, compliance) to customize presentations for client updates, HarbourVest-sponsored events, and on-site due diligence meetings.
Maintain workflow for presentations to ensure updates, reviews, and timely delivery using Salesforce for assignment tracking.
Translate investment concepts into persuasive, visually cohesive presentations aligned with HarbourVest’s brand standards.
Coordinate and lead all aspects of RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs, and fundraising inquiries serving as project lead to ensure timely completion of client-related materials.
Partner with Compliance to ensure all materials adhere to SEC marketing guidelines and maintain appropriate documentation for approvals.
Administrative Support & Content Management (20%)
Update and maintain HarbourVest’s global content management and support related reporting efforts.
Collaborate with global teams (APAC, Boston, EMEA) to align marketing initiatives and improve communication strategies worldwide.
Stay current with industry practices and ensure consistent messaging and tone across all materials.

Experience with financial markets, private equity, or investment management concepts.

The Foundation is seeking to recruit a data-savvy Digital Marketing Analyst who thrives in a data-driven environment and has a strong background in marketing performance analytics and data processing/transformation and visualization. You will play a key role in measuring and optimizing our marketing strategies across digital channels, transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive decision-making.

The incumbent will be part of the foundation's marketing and communications team and is responsible for managing the weekly reporting process through the extraction and organizing of digital marketing data across website traffic (google analytics), social media platforms and other monitoring tools (such as HubSpot and Meltwater), as well as preparing report formats and templates.

The position

Key responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Analyst include:

Lead the creation of a new custom marketing performance dashboard / aggregator to accelerate the sophistication and on-demand delivery of data insights

Manage the weekly marketing reporting process from extracting of data, organizing of extracted data into databases and spreadsheets, preparing and writing report insights / recommendations and presentation of completed report to stakeholders

Manipulate large datasets from various sources (e.g. Google, Matomo web analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot CRM platforms, etc.) using tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python

Create online dashboards, visuals and charts to illustrate trends and insights.

Evaluate and recommend performance insights of the data based on an understanding of the marketing and promotional efforts executed by team members

Organise weekly reporting meetings

Ensure data documentation and archiving on a weekly basis

Set-up and manage reporting process and timelines, as well as support data extraction and analysis for ad-hoc and yearly campaign reports

Ensure the data integrity and quality of the database through regular cleaning and updates

On-going HubSpot CRM support for foundation's database

Provide support in other areas of digital marketing / overall marketing purview (e,g. digital marketing assets creation, events).

Qualifications

Minimum: Diploma, preferably in a business, marketing or related discipline

Demonstrable experience (minimum of 2 years) working in digital marketing data analytics, statistics or related fields

Knowledge of digital marketing / marketing analytics tools, campaigns and platforms, including Hotjar, SEMRush, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, HubSpot and social media platforms

Solid background in data analytics with strong understanding of digital KPIs: CPC, CTR, CPM, ROAS, CPA, CAC, LTV, etc.

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI)

Experience manipulating data using Excel, SQL, or Python/R

Advanced competency with using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

As a Performance Marketing Analyst, you will be responsible for optimising and enhancing our clients' digital marketing campaigns to drive maximum performance and achieve their business goals.

What You Will Learn

The Performance Marketing Analyst will experience an exponential learning curve if you can thrive in a fast-growing environment. You will be exposed to strategic consulting, digital marketing ecosystem and data science tools, and a diverse team from different countries and cultures.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and manage performance marketing strategies and campaigns across various digital channels like Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Performance Max and Email.
  • Analyse campaign data and track performance to identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Implement A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation techniques to maximise campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and development teams, to align campaigns with business objectives.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure campaigns remain innovative and competitive.
  • Generate reports with actionable insights and present recommendations to clients.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly communicate campaign progress to internal teams and clients.
  • Identify and implement new tools and technologies to enhance campaign performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to uncover new opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Requires 1-3 years of working experience in Google, Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn Ads (campaign setup, launch, and optimisation)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
  • Proficiency with analytics/reporting tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of conversion rate optimisation (CRO) techniques and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently or collaboratively.
  • Passion for digital marketing and an eagerness to stay on top of emerging trends.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a genuine drive to make an impact.

This is a competency leadership role in B2B strategic marketing, responsible for analyzing markets, identifying growth opportunities, and validating differentiated value propositions.

Job Descriptions:

1. Market Research & Analysis
  • Analyze macro trends, industry dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Identify and segment emerging markets and growth opportunities.
  • Prioritize opportunities and recommend strategies for targeting and positioning.
2. Strategic Project Leadership
  • Lead projects related to market development, new product launches, and business model innovation.
  • Drive cross-functional teams through the Stage-Gate innovation process to support commercialization.
3. Competency Leadership
  • Train and coach teams on key strategic marketing tools and methodologies, including:

  • Market sizing & segmentation

  • Financial modeling (NPV, IRR, breakeven)
  • VOC analysis & value proposition development
  • Value pricing & 4P strategy
  • Develop and refine toolkits to support strategic marketing excellence across the organization.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in strategic marketing or corporate strategy roles.
  • Over 5 years of experience in customer-facing positions, preferably within B2B settings.
  • Experience in material science or a related B2B industry is highly desirable.
  • Possesses an MBA or an equivalent advanced qualification.
  • Strong strategic mindset coupled with solid business acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and skilled at managing change in dynamic environments.
  • Experienced in leading virtual, cross-regional teams spanning Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
  • Willing to travel overseas
