What you'll do

As the Global Practice Management Senior Director (GPMSD), you will support and partner with the Global Practice Area Leader (PAL) and the GA PA Leadership Team to develop and deliver the Practice's strategic agenda. You will develop, enhance and bring to life, the vision and strategy set by PAL and GA LT for the practice. You will oversee execution of the PA strategy - driving initiatives, shaping robust processes, and ensuring strong operational performance across regions, sectors, and key business priorities.

You will act as the PAL's Chief of Staff overseeing execution of topic and regional agendas– including products, content, affiliation and go-to-market; Vantage (Knowledge) - including IP/Assets/Tools; internal and external Marketing and Communications, People and Affiliation; and Finance/Commercial Excellence/ Planning.

The GPMSD is a core member of the global PA Leadership team and in charge of PA infrastructure, operating model and ensuring world class operations that deliver fast, reliable and high-quality strategic support to our internal stakeholders and external partners. You will be responsible for a global team of 100+ staff across PA Management, Operations, and Vantage (Topic Activation, Client Facing and Survey Operations cohorts). You will also contribute to firm-wide priorities through your participation in cross-practice communities, supporting collaboration and alignment beyond the GA PA.

Supporting development and Executing GA's Strategic Vision to Drive Outcomes

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to PA Leadership, helping develop and execute the long-term PA vision across Regions, Sectors, and Functions
  • Lead annual PA planning including communicating and seeking support from the wider organisation
  • Oversee & Evolve run-the-business and go-to-market approaches in collaboration with Regional PALs and Topic Leaders
  • Identify and mobilize growth opportunities, outlining investment cases and tracking execution
  • Monitor business performance, flag risks, and recommend leadership interventions to stay on track
  • Manage overall PA budgets and investments, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities

Support PAL with special initiatives (e.g. keynotes, firmwide leadership engagements)

Accelerating execution of Thought Leadership, IP, and Product Agenda developed by GA LT

  • Execute the Practice's IP strategy e.g. new content, products, tools, and databases
  • Foster collaboration w/ internal (e.g. IPA, FPA, BCG.X, BHI) and external thought leaders
  • Oversee investment governance, ensuring high ROI and alignment with strategic goals
  • Partner with the Vantage (Knowledge) team to enhance methodology capture and innovate in tools and data
  • Drive internal dissemination of content and offers across MDPs and consulting teams
  • Evaluate and pursue strategic partnerships (e.g. academic or corporate collaborations)

Building Our Brand and External Seat at the Table (SATT)

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sector Leaders to shape Marketing strategy and deliver compelling external content, publications, PR, and events
  • Enhance the Practice's presence at key global events (e.g. World Economic Forum) and evolve our positioning
  • Track ROI on external investments to refine brand strategy and optimize impact
  • Explore innovative branding tactics and strategic collaborations to expand reach
  • Some SATT activities will be in coordination with the Centre for Geopolitics.

Defining and Delivering on Our People Agenda

  • Oversee execution of GA's people strategy in line with commercial goals, wellbeing of our people, affiliation, supporting PA and broader BCG planning – with PAL and people chair
  • Lead engagement efforts across the PA, innovating around communications and connectivity
  • Collaborate with Commercial Excellence leaders to equip teams with cutting-edge methodologies and tools
  • Drive alumni engagement through councils and events, in partnership with BCG regional teams

Delivering Against the GA PA and PAL Vision for PA Teams

  • Develop and execute the vision, culture, and performance goals for PA Management and Operations, and Vantage teams
  • Lead and coach direct reports, oversee talent pipeline, and guide hiring and team structure
  • Participate in key management processes (e.g. performance reviews, Career Development Committees)
  • Partner with Vantage Senior Directors to shape the future of the Vantage teams

Representing GA Across the BCG PA Community

  • Act as a primary interface with global BCG functions (Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, etc.)
  • Participate in GPMSD forums and firmwide discussions on PA leadership priorities
  • Represent the Practice in cross-PA initiatives, sub-teams, and strategic projects
  • Communicate PAL group outcomes to relevant internal stakeholders

You bring

  • Senior consulting skills preferred or 12+ years of relevant work experience leading businesses and teams
  • Demonstrate appreciation and understanding of the GA PA role and vision
  • Ability to support and have a good working relationship with PAL and GA leadership in driving the PA agenda, strategy and vision
  • MBA or similar Master's degree preferred
  • Significant line management experience preferred, ideally leading large global/virtual teams
  • We are looking for someone who is bold and aspirational, Willing to challenge and drive, while staying close to the detail necessary
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel; familiar with collaboration tools (Slack, Trello, MS Teams etc)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

You'll work with

  • This role will report directly to the Global Advantage Global Practice Area Leader and work closely with the Global Advantage Leadership Team. There will be close collaboration with the Topic Leaders and Regional Practice Area Leaders.
  • You will also work in close collaboration with the Center for Geopolitics Leader and Executive Director to ensure coordination between the Center for Geopolitics and Global Advantage.
  • You will also work with the Global Practice Management Director community both at the intersection of Global Advantage priorities (e.g. joint go to market) but also on firm priorities (e.g. GenAI initiatives).

Responsibilities
Elicit and manage the stakeholder's business requirements and translate them into detailed requirements documents, including user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
Work with technical teams to design solutions that meet business needs while considering system limitations and technical constraints.
Work closely with UX designers to plan and organize research activities such as product conceptualization workshops and Usability Testing.
Work with Quality Engineer and business users to plan for UAT, coordinate and monitor progress and acceptance of UAT, and manage defects as needed.
Organize the product backlog by extensively gathering and analyzing information with stakeholders and participating in crafting Functional/Design specifications.
Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Requirements
Singaporean only.
Bachelor's degree in information technology, or related fields.
Prior experience of at least 4 years in IT business analysis/developer, designing application solutions, and testing, or related.
Experience in cloud (Related certification will be an added advantage).
Prior experience in programming (Java, Python, VB.NET, C#, JavaScript, etc.) is advantageous.
Experience with low code platform, data analytics, cloud, design thinking and service design will be an added advantage.
Prior experience in full SDLC / PDLC using Agile methodologies (Related certification will be an added advantage).

Responsible for change-the-bank activities, coordination of process changes across various functions within the bank and overseeing the operation of systems supporting Wealth Platform. Acting as a bridge between development team and business users with the overall goal to maximise the value of the product.
Responsibilities
Product Owner, Business lead responsible for planning, prioritizing and executing the change initiatives across booking channels and covering end-to-end journey and process
Managing internal (business, support, product managers & technology teams) and external (partners and vendors) stakeholders to ensure the delivery of the initiatives and enhancements
Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Operations and Front Office to understand requirements and translate into features
Change agent for establishing the processes to support rollout
