Performs and understands a variety of tasks associated with servicing customer product. Learns and applies developing knowledge of department and individual performance metric relationships, basic product design principles, data analysis, and operation cost components.
Responsibilities:
+ Services customer product, including evaluating and validating customer complaint information, repair history, troubleshooting, and contract entitlement.
+ Creates work instructions, check sheets, or other process documentation.
+ Develops familiarity with a larger subset of products and processes, repair tasks that require specific skills learns and basic product design principles; follows general work instructions for
assignments according to productivity and qualify standards.
+ Proactively identifies areas for quality and/or productivity improvement; may work with other departments/colleagues to identify and implement.
+ Possess good knowledge of repair systems; developing the ability to see larger scale trends in terms of product failure modes and repeat repairs.
+ Trains associates in basic work assignments and shares information with the team in regards to new learnings.
+ Complies with all required safety practices, and regulations; participates in safety meetings, committees, and/or audits.
+ May perform activities to calibrate tools and maintain equipment.
+ May obtain certification as an emergency responder.
+ May obtain training in other areas of safety (i.e. fire extinguisher use).
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
+ Diploma, ITE Nitec, or Higher Nitec in Mechnical, Electrical, or IT.
Minimum Work Experience (years):
+ 1 + years experience
Key Skills and Competencies:
+ Able to work in a team environment
+ Good communication and interpersonal skills
+ Able to follow and understand work instructions
+ Able to use common hand tools
+ Able to lift up to 20Kg of weight with the help of equipment as we have some products that are quite heavy.

Description:

  1. Review and generate APU Configuration and Service Bulletin Modification sheet for in-house repaired engines.
  2. Perform APU final physical inspection in accordance with respective approved manuals and repair documents.
  3. Perform inspection of APU shop visit maintenance records (routings, test sheets, etc) and technical data, in accordance with approved manual, and customer workscope requirements.
  4. Support other department in relevant Quality inspection work or any other duties as assigned.
  5. Prepare, update and maintain shop visit documentation, compliance checklist and logs for internal stakeholders and customers.
  6. Perform release of ARC for B3, C7 and any other C rating as qualified. (CAAS, FAA, EASA, CAAC, etc)
  7. Initiates & implements continuous improvement activities to improve productivity and quality.
  8. Support other department in relevant jobs and any other duties as assigned.

Attributes/Skills/Experience Required:

  1. Experience in performing inspection of aero engine assemblies, LRUs and hardware parts.
  2. Familiar with applicable Regulatory regulations Part 145 and rules from (CAAS, EASA, FAA, CAAC, JCAB, CAAT, CAAB, CAAM, DGCA INDONESIA, CAAP, CAAV) including their Manuals (Exposition)/Supplements and capability lists, training manuals, TAM/MIP arrangements.
  3. Experience in Human Factors and SMS in Aviation Maintenance.
  4. Strong team player with good interpersonal communication skills.
  5. Committed and willing to work long hours. Able to work on shift hours.
  6. Must be able to interpret blueprint drawings and use of engine/component manuals and/or publications.
  7. Good understanding of 5S and TPM concepts.
  8. Must have intermediate computer skills. Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
  9. Experience and understanding of Six Sigma and Lean tools will be an added advantage.

Education Required:

  • GCE O Level or NTC certificate or higher
  • Must have CAAS papers or equivalent, to qualify as signatory in B3 and C7 rating for CAAS, FAA, EASA and other regulatory.
