Facilities Maintenance Specialist

• Maintain mechanical and electrical systems in an optimal operational state.
• Evaluate and ensure that maintenance of mechanical and civil aspects of the building adhere to standard operating procedures and contractual terms.
• Provide prompt service assistance to tenants.
• Conduct regular inspections on electrical, air-conditioning, chilled-water, and plumbing systems within the building.
• Perform minor repairs for sanitary, plumbing, electrical, and building works.
• Address building and tenant defects and breakdowns as requested.
• Prepare daily activity reports on equipment or property damage, or breakdown occurrences.
• Carry out troubleshooting and equipment failure checks during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
• Communicate with contractors for routine servicing and emergency repair.

Key Qualifications and Skills

• Hold a NITEC certificate in Building Services / Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Possess at least one year of experience in facility maintenance.
• Be capable of performing assigned tasks effectively.
• Be comfortable working rotating shifts, six days a week, including weekends and public holidays.

Requirement:

• NTC / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Building/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Atleast 4 to 5 years of relevant working experience in maintaining office buildings / service apartments
• Pro-active, independent, able to work with minimal supervision and perform under pressure
