A Project Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, successful, and cost-effective delivery of projects. Key responsibilities include providing effective risk management, problem resolution, and ensuring adequate resources are assigned to projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery through efficient resource allocation
- Assign and manage resources effectively to meet project objectives
- Monitor and mitigate risks by identifying issues from project reporting and meetings
- Establish and maintain a culture of health and safety across all assigned projects
- Develop and implement the Project Execution Plan (PEP)

- Prepare the Technical Proposal with assistance from the project team and present to the Construction Director
- Review contract documentation and be aware of contractual requirements
- Plan and coordinate pre-construction activities with the project team
- Conduct the Project Start-Up Meeting with the Project Delivery Team
- Monitor site progress against contractually agreed terms and mitigate project risks
- Take responsibility and immediate action for any Extension of Time Requirement
- Coordinate design information and commercial aspects with construction documentation
- Lead the Completion meeting and review core aspects and completion activities at this stage
- Oversee the preparation of a micro sequence program to close out the project
- Coordinate a smooth transition between handover and occupation by the client
- Submit an updated and concise Project Close-out Report on time
- Conduct a joint inspection with the client and consultants at the end of Defects Liability Period (DLP)
