Job Summary
We are hiring for an innovative crypto wallet and payment network startup who are looking for an Integration Engineer to lead technical integrations for our merchant payment system, enabling crypto payments via QR/NFC and POS within our wallet app. Based in Hong Kong or Singapore (or able to travel periodically), you will serve as the technical face of the company, aligning client requirements with the platform and supporting the rollout. This role combines sales engineering and integration expertise for online and physical payment environments.
Responsibilities
Design and implement integrations for merchant APIs, POS systems, and crypto payment flows (QR/NFC).
Collaborate with external merchants and developers to align (PingMe)’s platform with client requirements.
Develop and maintain merchant, admin, and developer portals for seamless onboarding and transaction management.
Integrate smart contract-based backend services with POS hardware and online payment systems.
Provide technical demonstrations and support to merchants, ensuring successful adoption of (PingMe)’s crypto wallet.
Work with the Tech Lead and Business Analyst to resolve integration challenges and optimize payment flows.
Contribute to testing and documentation for the January 2026 merchant integration launch.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in integration engineering, sales engineering, or merchant payment systems.
Proven expertise in integrating APIs, POS systems, or payment gateways, ideally with crypto or fintech focus.
Strong technical skills in backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python) and API integration (RESTful, SDKs).
Familiarity with blockchain technology and crypto wallets (e.g., Web3.js, Ethers.js, Solidity).
Excellent client-facing skills for technical demonstrations and requirement alignment.
Ability to work in Hong Kong or Singapore (or travel periodically) and align with local time zones.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Skills
Experience with crypto payment gateways (e.g., Coinbase Commerce, BVNK) and QR/NFC systems.
Knowledge of POS hardware integration and merchant onboarding processes.
Background in sales engineering or technical pre-sales in fintech or e-commerce.
