• Support Project Director/Manager in project coordination and planning activities to meet timelines and deliverables.
• Prepare and manage baseline & working programme schedules, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with project milestones
• Prepare, manage and submit the monthly payment request to the Client, incorporating the monthly progress status and physical work-done (progress percentage), with the supporting of the Quantity Surveying team and coordinating with construction team.
• Mus have good understanding of an overall Project life cycle and it is proficient in the usage of Planning software such as Primavera
• Manage and control construction schedule Updates revisions of the Master Programme/Schedule and other planning/control documents to include planned work, actual progress, revised activities, revised sequence, additional works and additional time.
• Monitor resources, progress of the works and compile records.
• Prepares the daily, weekly and monthly manpower and equipment report for timely submission to the Client
• Provide regular project updates in reports such as weekly/monthly report, progress updated programme summaries, variation orders, and extension of time (EOT) assessments.
• Work closely with consultants, contractors, and suppliers on planning and project execution.
• Participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and timely issue resolution.
• Conduct technical reviews to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in tender submissions, method statements, and claims preparation.
• Oversee on-site safety and environmental compliance, including identifying potential hazards and reviewing method statements.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering (PEB Recognised)
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in construction planning and programme coordination for underground railway projects.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 scheduling software for LTA MRT project.
• Good knowledge of construction methodologies and construction sequencing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project schedules in consultation with the project team
• Coordinate and obtain inputs from project team, contractors and suppliers to support the development of project programmes
• Prepare baseline schedule which includes resources, cost loadings, S-curves, Programme Narratives, and scope appreciation presentation
• Work on progress forecast and prepare rolling programmes
• Update, track and report project progress against planned schedule
• Monitor and control progress to make sure that turnover and cost is in line with master construction program
• Ensure timely submission of materials with approvals
• Ensure project orders and deliveries are in accordance to agreed schedules
• Assist in the overall interfacing and coordination works as and when required

Requirements

• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore or Building and Construction Authority (BCA)
• Good understanding of construction industry practices and standards to perform planning and scheduling
• Experience in LTA programme preparation, programme requirements and submissions
• At least 3 years’ experience in large scale projects with hands on experience doing planning and scheduling for civil and building projects
• Candidate with more experience will be considered for a senior role
• Proficient in planning software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
• Candidate with 4D BIM knowledge will have an added advantage
• Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently to produce programmes, narrative and histograms
• Meticulous, eye for details and a good team player
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment

1. To organize, implement and maintain scheduling management system supporting the team during the project.

Job Description:

· Develop a preliminary and/or baseline schedule based on the client's

requirements/milestones, and scope of work.

· Identify the critical path and take note of any foreseeable risk that may affect the project

schedule.

· Prepare manpower and equipment loading plans.

· Determine and implement the most efficient sequence of work to ensure it meets the

client's and the company's needs.

· Keep track of projects' progress and furnish reports to be used for progress updates,

claims, and EOT requests.

· Update the schedule according to site progress and develop a recovery plan for any

delays.

· Attend progress meetings with the client and coordinate with stakeholders

As Quantity Surveyor:

· Prepare costings and quotations for project bidding.

· Attend Tender Clarification meetings to fully understand the scope of work, qualifications,

and exclusions.

· Prepare progress claims, and follow up on VO's if any.

· Execute and coordinate with client regarding contract remeasurements, and EOT.

· Compile, maintain, and organize documents to be used for claims.

Others (Subcontracts):

· Evaluate/review quotations and offers from subcontractors.

· Prepare and issue out subcontracts/work orders.

· Verify and coordinate with site personnel for preparation of payment response to subcon

claims.

· Prepare and compile documents for contract closure.

Requirement:

· Professional qualification and minimum 1 years’ experience in construction planning

· Managing resource loaded schedules and progress over baseline schedules

· Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel, histograms and pivot sheets

· Ability to work in Primavera program / MS Project / Excel to be used as planning tools

· Familiar with progress tracking software

· Teamwork attitude

· Familiarity with the techniques and working methods used in the sector

· Independent, pro-active, accurate, with strong analytical and organising skills
