- Provide administrative support to the nursing department, including coordinating meetings and assisting with Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) meetings
- Serve as a liaison for nursing training and development matters, including managing training nominations and assisting with registration processes
- Support the Director of Nursing (DON) in various administrative tasks as needed

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
General and Staff Related:
+ Provide day to day guidance, support and direction to direct patient care staff, providing informal feedback on an ongoing basis and formal feedback input for the annual performance evaluation. Participate in the department staffing and the appropriate hiring, firing and disciplinary actions. Recommend disciplinary action to Clinical Manager and initiate as appropriate.
