Qualifications

As part of the Department of Climate Research (DCR), the Climate Projections and Extremes Branch (CPEB) focuses on climate processes relevant to Singapore and the Southeast Asian region and developing next generation high resolution regional climate change projections for its stakeholders.

A core component of the work is the application of AI/ML methods for climate and climate change time scales, especially as part of the new AI-based production of high-resolution regional climate change projections.

  • Implement AI/ML methods on our HPC system; train the AI/ML models and test their capabilities

The successful candidate will drive the development and scale-up of continuous flow chemical systems and novel catalytic pathways, contributing to global advancements in sustainable chemistry and renewable feedstock utilization. The candidate will also be responsible for cross-institutional coordination, lab commissioning, team building, and research translation, ensuring smooth integration across NTU, MPI, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide scientific leadership and direction for a multidisciplinary research team focused on biomass valorization and continuous-flow process development.
