Job Description

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated AI Research & Development Intern to join our AI Product group that delivers innovative Computer Vision solutions to global customers. You will conform to high standards and work in a cutting-edge, dynamic, and professionally challenging environment.

As part of your role you will :

• Implement practical solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) methods, and Computer Vision (CV) models to solve real-world challenges.
• Conduct rigorous experiments to validate model performance, including data preparation, evaluation, and benchmarking, ensuring reliability and accuracy.
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept systems to test innovative ideas and demonstrate their feasibility and value.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts, including deep learning techniques.
• Strong programming skills, with a solid understanding of databases such as MongoDB or Neo4j.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, logical reasoning, communication, and teamwork skills.

Duration :

• Available for at least a 6-month internship.
• Able to work at least 4 days a week and preferably full-time.

Research & Development Sous Chef

Overview

As a R&D Sous Chef, you will work closely with the management and quality assurance department to develop new recipes and refine taste profiles through experimentation for B2B customer – Café, Education, Catering and Retail products. You will train kitchen team members, supervise and coordinate all culinary activities. You are also responsible for preparing consistent, high quality food products and improve efficiency to streamline kitchen operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Create new product recipes and ingredient selection while taking note of nutrition, shelf life and regulations
• Confirm product formulations and other information for constructing product specifications and documentation
• Make recommendations in the design of new manufacturing processes or to change current equipment or processes
• Plan, manage and run panel sessions and sensory tests on food products

Job Responsibilities

Design and Independently Execute Experiments:

· Design and laboratory-scale experiments to support client upstream processes and requests.

· Perform assay development and data analysis.

Upstream Process Evaluation and Optimization:

· Evaluate and optimize existing client processes in preparation for scale-up.

· Propose improvements and modifications to enhance process efficiency.

Scale-Up and Technology Transfer:

· Conduct scale-up experiments in larger bioreactors.

· Experience with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) will be an advantage.

· Proficient in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

· Experience in isolation of stem cells, tissue banking and generation of cell bank.

· Experience with cell assays such as FACS, ELISA, biological assays.
