You will be part of the team with unique access to insights of cyber threat activities operating within Singapore's cyberspace, and your role is to attribute cyber threats and assess the potential impact to national security.
What You Will Be Working On
As a Cyber Intelligence Analyst, you will undertake one or more of the following functional roles:
- Conduct cyber intelligence investigations and research to derive insights and assessments, including producing intelligence reports to inform strategic stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Provide strategic, operational and tactical analysis to help progress cyber investigations against cyber aggressors.
- Perform cyber threat hunting to sniff out highly sophisticated cyber threats, including designing and developing new cyber threat hunting rules and use cases.
- Apply data analytics know-how to detect for "signature-less" cyber attacks.
- Perform technical analysis on computer artifacts (including computer forensics) to ascertain motivation and intent of perpetrator, with the goal to attribute them.
- Perform malware analysis to identify tell-tale signs which could attribute and identify malware origin.
- Apply data analytics know-how to perform malware classification and attribution.
- Apply programming and coding skillsets to build cyber operational toolkits, automate investigative and analysis processes.
- Undertake cyber intelligence operations to engage and counter cyber aggressors.

- Relevant experience, certifications or demonstrable skillsets in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous:
- Cyber threat intelligence
- Understanding of networking and network protocols

- Conduct multi-source intelligence analysis using Blackbird.AI’s Constellation social media analytics platform and OSINT to identify and monitor narrative risk areas.
- Create client deliverables, including reports and presentations, based on analytical insights.
- Provide customer enablement, training, and support.
- Maintain positive client relationships and lead engagements throughout project lifecycles.
- Deliver analysis and support work for other Blackbird.AI clients.
- Demonstrate expertise in Blackbird.AI’s Constellation software product to external audiences.
- Contribute to other commercial opportunities such as marketing and thought leadership initiatives, customer satisfaction, or sales support activities.
- Perform other ad hoc intelligence, support, product, and administrative tasks, including Quality Assurance checks for Blackbird.AI’s software products.
- Approximately 5-7 years experience in a similar role.
- Native or professional-level language proficiency in English .
- Analysis proficiency in regional languages such as Chinese, Malay, Tamil, etc. is a strong plus.
- Situated in Singapore/APAC region .
- Proven experience in producing intelligence products, preferably for government, national security, or public sector clients . Experience in enterprise strategic communications, crisis communications, consultancy, or PRis also desirable.
- Experience in social media analysis , specifically leveraging social media data for government, national security, or public sector intelligence work.
- Familiarity with mainstream and alternative media platforms, including their users, audiences, content, structures, and mechanisms.
- Proficiency in intelligence practices and methodologies, encompassing the identification of key collection sources, assessment of raw intelligence, research, network analysis, and the preparation of comprehensive intelligence reports for enterprise-level clients.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, enabling the creation and delivery of timely, concise, and accurate intelligence reports and briefings.
- Strong professionalism, self-motivation, efficiency, and a track record of delivering on tight deadlines.
- Prior experience with Boolean writing, and software tools such as Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Meltwater, Dataminr, is highly advantageous.
- Previous involvement in both qualitative and quantitative project management is a plus.

The Senior Intelligence Analyst will be the in-region intelligence lead for a prominent APAC government client . Outside of this, you will also support other Blackbird clients and commercial opportunities through your specialization in Narrative Risk Intelligence.
