Job Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Project Lead/Owner/Sponsor to drive strategic or major initiatives as part of the organization's roadmap and strategy.
  • Support the project lifecycle from requirement scoping, designing, technical construction, user acceptance testing, training, documentation and implementation, in accordance with the Project Management Process and Methodology.
  • Analyse business operations and systems within the banking sector, focusing on areas such as Loan and Trade, GIRO and FAST, Bank internal data interface systems.
  • The scope of systems includes core banking, back-office, information systems, front-office, and regulatory reporting systems, covering the entire spectrum of banking operations.
  • As a Business Analyst, you will accurately capture business requirements, and as a System Analyst, you will assess technical feasibility and design solutions from both perspectives.
  • Coordinate with system stakeholders in Japan, Singapore, and other APAC regions.
  • Create detailed diagrams and documents to communicate business requirements and changes to system stakeholders to ensure smooth project executions.
  • Communicate effectively the project progress, status, and key decisions to stakeholders, including senior management, and provide regular updates on project metrics, risk and dependencies.
  • Manage effectively time, communication, risks, and tasks within your area of responsibility.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in defining requirements and analysing business data as a Business Analyst and in designing, specification formulation, and technical construction as a System Analyst.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders (technical and non-technical teams) in English.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge and practical experience required for the respective systems:
  1. FAST/GIRO Payment (some banking knowledge is sufficient)
  2. XB/MEPS Payment (some banking knowledge is sufficient)
  3. Internal Data Interface (some banking knowledge is sufficient. Familiarity with G/L and MT900 series statements, and Report for MAS is a plus.)
  4. Loan and Trade (In-depth bank business knowledge is required)
