Exhibition Visual Design Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to assist in the design of exhibition graphics, interactive displays, and digital media.

• Assist in designing visually compelling graphics for exhibitions and marketing campaigns
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop innovative ideas
• Work under the guidance of the Associate Creative Director (ACD) to conceptualize and execute creative designs
• Support the team with layout design, typography, and color selection
• Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and project objectives

• At least a Polytechnic Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong sense of layout, typography, color theory, and branding
• Passion for exhibition design, interactive media, and digital storytelling
• Ability to translate creative briefs into compelling visual designs

As a Visual Design Intern at Aleph, you'll be part of diverse digital projects, ranging from stories to strategy, site launches to mobile applications. You'll be exposed to project management, client relations, and timekeeping.

This is a minimum 6-month, full-time internship, based on-site in our Singapore studio.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to integrate effectively into a team, fostering teamwork and cultivating relationships, while also being capable of working independently or with minimal supervision.
• Collaborative skills for working with cross-functional teams, including the ability to work with senior designers, UX designers, copywriters, and developers, ensuring design coherence and excellence. This also includes refining skills in aesthetics and art direction.
• Proficiency in multitasking in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and a collaborative spirit, with an enjoyment for a collaborative design process.
• Adaptability and a quick learning capacity—with a positive attitude and enjoyment in the work undertaken.

Pre-requisites

• Appreciation for the stories, art, design, and aesthetics.
• Creative mindset with a solid understanding of design fundamentals, capable of creating meaningful and visually appealing designs.
• Proficiency in producing various design outputs such as graphics, illustration, layouts, etc.
• Skilled in using design tools like AfterEffects, Figma, Photoshop, and Keynote for tasks including data visualization, layouts, illustration, and graphic creation.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and articulate ideas, both verbally and in writing.
• Additional proficiency in motion graphics design and video editing is a plus.
• This is a 6 months internship program.
