Are you fluent in both English and Mandarin with a passion for language and communication? We are looking for a detail-oriented Language Translator to join our remote team and support professional interpretation services from the comfort of your home!

• Type: 3-month contract (renewable based on performance)
• Working Hours: 5-day work week (Mon–Sun), based on roster
• Shift Timing: 8-hour shift between 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM
• Training Pay: $14/hour
• Basic Pay: up to $19/hr
• Location: Fully remote (Singapore only)
• Provide accurate, professional interpretation and translation between English and Mandarin
• Maintain neutrality, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times, especially in high-pressure or sensitive scenarios
• Use strong listening and memory retention skills (including note-taking) to ensure accurate communication
• Faithfully convey the original message without omitting or altering meaning
• Follow all interpretation protocols and adhere to ethical standards in the industry
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Ability to work overnight shifts as scheduled
• Prior experience in interpretation or translation is a plus

Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and adaptable Bilingual Translator & Interpreter (English / Mandarin) to support cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, bilingual business environment. This role involves real-time translation and transcription during meetings, minute taking, translating and reviewing legal, corporate, and operational documents.

Key responsibilities

1. Provide real-time interpretation between English and Mandarin during internal and external meetings.
2. Accurately transcribe meeting discussions and take clear, structured minutes in both English and Mandarin.
3. Translate business documents including contracts, agreements, legal documentation, and internal communications.
4. Ensure that all translations are contextually accurate and culturally appropriate.
5. Review and proofread translated materials for grammar, terminology, tone, and accuracy.
6. Work closely with legal and commercial teams to ensure clarity in all bilingual communications.
7. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
8. Support ad hoc translation and interpretation tasks as required.
9. Travel as needed for business meetings or assignments.

Job requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a corporate or legal environment.
