Job scope overview

Reporting to R&D Director, the ideal candidate will be required a strong chemical engineering background to lead APRISIUM research and development department. He/ She will play a pivotal role in product innovation and development, including concept formulation, verification and validation and technology translation to manufacturing. The new concepts are expected to address novel workflows, sensor/system configuration and chemistry, signal modulation and data processing flow. Aside of the crucial technical skills, the candidate is expected to supervise a team of chemists and efficiently manage few concurrent projects. Key Responsibilities

· Contribute strategic leadership to the R&D Team, guiding its members in the research and development skills and optimization of APRISIUM’s IoT-enabled real-time contamination monitoring services.

· Be responsible for formulation of new concepts of addressing contamination monitoring challenges, including market and prior arts analysis,

The job focuses on the development of image and signal processing algorithms for the next generations of optical inspection and metrology systems. The responsibilities of this position covers the entire life cycle of algorithms, including modeling, proof-of-concept design, production software design and implementation, performance characterization, documentation and user support. Since algorithms can affect many aspects of the system, significant amount of time be spent on cross-function team collaboration for prototyping and testing.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. or Master Degree holder in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Physics with strong experience in algorithm development is preferred.
• The position requires a proven innovative track record and solid fundamental knowledge in the related fields of algorithm development, including texture analysis, deep learning, image segmentation, feature extraction, classification, statistical data analysis, signal processing, filter theory.
