As an Operations Planning Manager based in Singapore, the incumbent will be working in a fast-paced dynamic environment, often balancing several priorities at the same time. The main purpose of this role is to ensure timely coordination between regions' demand, planning activity and the supply from production. At all times, the aim is to provide the best possible service to all stakeholders and ensure alignment in all aspects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The general responsibilities of the position include but not limited to the followings:
- Ensure internal planning activity preparation and coordination with Main Planning team & Production units as per agreed planning timeline
- Maintain communication with Regions, Production Units and HQ in all matters concerning demand and supply during Planning Activity / Process
- Ensure that Demand and Supply Plan Proposal (SPP) are in place to given deadlines
- Analyse, communicate and make corrective actions to regions (where possible) when there are deviations between Demand/SPP and Supply plans
- Ensure the Demand Coverage can be fulfilled and take initiative actions if any issues arise
- Ensure relevant deadlines from the S&OP calendar are communicated, understood and adhered to
Follow up with regions on relevant processes to ensure timely / accurate information is in place for order releases
Drive continuous improvements to the S&OP process
- Responsible for managing team performance
- Ad hoc tasks and projects may be assigned
Requirements:
- Candidate should possess at least a Degree, preferably in Supply chain or logistics related education
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field, with managerial experience, is required for this position
- Proven track record in a MNC or major organization is a plus
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to multi-task and work independently
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Experience in advanced excel functions will be an advantage

- Support the Global Head of CRES at relevant committees by reviewing papers and providing analysis of the content to ensure that key issues/ risks/ insights are highlighted
- Support the Global Head of CRES ahead of material issues and act as the point of contact to help manage issues/ solve problems.
People & Talent
- Support the Global Head of CRES and Head of Strategic Change, CRES & SCM on people management in the areas of resourcing, talent development, performance management, learning and development and engagement, in accordance with frameworks and standards set by Group.
- Support Global Head of CRES and Head of Strategic Change, CRES & SCM in embedding any organisation structure changes from time to time.
- Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from the team and work in collaboration with risk and control partner
- Assist Global Head of CRES on the team structure/capacity plans regularly and feed opportunities into CRES TOM refresh.
Risk Management
- Support the Global Head of CRES on any risk related matters including risk reporting requirements as applicable

- Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which CRES operates and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

- Postgraduate /Professionally certified with 10+ years’ experience in banking or business management
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative problem-solver with good multi-tasking skills, able to prioritise issues and resolve them efficiently.

Responsibilities
● Collaborate with executive leadership and key stakeholders across different business units to ensure the integration of central operations/ supply chain strategy with other functional strategies
● Support strategic business planning with comprehensive market analysis and industry research (including supply chain trends, opportunities, and challenges).
● Support the development and alignment of internal and external communications content to cascade strategy and build our corporate branding image
● Monitor external factors such as regulatory changes, geopolitical events, and technological advancements that may impact the supply chain strategy
● To be part of the team to drive Supply Chain Optimisation projects aligned with the supply chain transformation strategy, and provide project management support to set up pilot/ study and monitor performance metrics.
● Conduct research and analyses, map out process flows, understand the businesses’ needs and identify gaps within capacity, process and systems to propose and prioritise solutions
● Conduct data analysis on order volume, order profile and other relevant store-product analysis to understand supply chain needs, also study distribution centre operational performance, such as service level, manpower productivity, capacity utilisation and costs-to-serve to achieve transformation objectives
● To be able to lead various transformation and change management project workstreams to plan and execute multi-stakeholders implementation plan, track milestones and dependencies, and measure project progress/ success against business case and alignment to and group business objectives
