Job Summary

SGX is seeking an Index Operations Analyst who is part of a global Index Edge team that develops, manages and distributes indices for SGX's client base. You will work with respective stakeholders to manage the onboarding of new indices, ensuring flawless execution and adherence to best practices. You will also participate in design, testing, and implementation of index solutions across our technology platforms to address new client requests, while enhancing operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

Index Onboarding & Operational Readiness

  • Lead the onboarding of new indices into SGX's operational systems and workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust controls, comprehensive documentation, and seamless integration.

Daily Index Management

  • Oversee the daily operations of indices across asset classes including equities, fixed income, FX, rates, futures, and options.
  • Execute corporate actions and index adjustments with precision and timeliness.

Index Rebalancing & Maintenance

  • Perform periodic and ad-hoc index rebalancing, including validation of constituent data, weightings, and methodology adherence.
  • Prepare and disseminate index change notices to vendors and clients.

Process Optimization & Risk Mitigation

  • Identify opportunities for automation and procedural enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
  • Proactively assess and mitigate operational risks through control enhancements and workflow redesign.

Technology & Innovation

  • Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of index solutions across SGX's technology platforms.
  • Support new client requests and contribute to the evolution of index capabilities.
Job Requirements
  • 4+ years of work experience in middle or back-office functions within asset management, banking, or financial services
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience handling large datasets and quantitative algorithms
  • Proven track record in process improvement, automation, and operational innovation
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, LSEG Workspace, and other market data platforms
  • Proficient in index methodologies, corporate actions, and financial instruments across asset classes
  • Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline
  • Excellent problem-solving and strategic planning abilities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy and prudence in execution
  • Programming skills in Python or VBA are a strong advantage

  • Ensuring inventory and shipping/receiving functions at manufacturing plants are operating at levels that meet customers' needs and established financial benchmarks as well as formulating and recommending manufacturing policies and programs which guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation.
  • Directing activities so that approved products are manufactured on schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives with optimum labor, and least amount of overhead and raw material costs.
  • Overseeing operations budgets for assigned areas to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure requirements, including providing accurate forecasts to finance.
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 15 years' experience of diversified manufacturing management experience in a manufacturing environment working in multinational companies with a matrix organization.
  • Experience with successful implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of the global marketplace with experience ideally in filtration and separation processes or related discipline.

**Job Description:**
This job is responsible for leading a segment or a small operations unit for a site, region, or product line within the bank's internal operations. Key responsibilities include identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex problems, ensuring compliance with policies, and developing and implementing new processes to improve operating efficiency and ensure accuracy of workflow. Job expectations include overseeing day-to-day activities of employees, including executing transactions and managing the budget, expenses, forecasting, and reporting.
**NFRR, Tax reporting, Credit reporting and Remediation (NTCR)** is looking for dynamic and experienced individuals to support the strategy to meet the policy & regulatory requirements associated with Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting (NFRR) report production process across multiple APAC branches.
Key responsibilities include ensuring accuracy, completeness & timeliness of NFRR submission to regulator, timely escalations of issues, communicate regulatory requirement change, and governance among others.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including Manual Data Providers, Report Preparers, Report Owners, Data Strategy and Management Executive (DSME) and FLU/CF Governance team.
**Roles & Responsibilities**
1. Assume the role as Report Preparer for Singapore & Japan, which include producing report, performing in-line control, and submitting report to the regulator while ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements and internal standards.
2. Manage and enhance governance around the report production process across APAC including data sourcing, documentation, error handling, and issue remediation.
3. Partner with regional & global stakeholders to standardize reporting processes, eliminate redundancies, and implement best practices.
4. Drive automation and efficiency improvements through Excel VBA, Alteryx tools or other relevant technologies.
5. Coordinate and support internal & external audits, regulatory reviews, and control testing.
6. Prepare and present key metrices and governance update to senior management when required.
**Required Skills:**
- Bachelor's Degree with minimum 10+ years of experience; Professional qualifications (e.g., CA, CFA, CPA) preferred.
