- Contribute to data lineage, metadata, and data quality initiatives to enhance trust in enterprise data.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, modeling, or data management, ideally within the financial services or banking sector.
- Solid understanding of data governance principles (e.g. DAMA-DMBOK).
- Proven expertise in building data models for banking, risk, compliance, and finance domains.
- Skilled in data modeling tools such as Erwin, PowerDesigner, or similar platforms.
- Strong SQL capabilities with hands-on experience working with large-scale financial data sets.
- Deep understanding of relational and dimensional modeling, as well as data warehousing and integration strategies.
- Familiarity with APAC financial regulatory frameworks is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and align with both technical and business stakeholders.

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Data Architecture Strategist to join our team. As a Senior Data Platform Solution Architect, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining Azure Data Architecture within a banking environment, ensuring compliance with data-related policies and standards.
Your primary responsibilities will include designing and implementing data solutions using Databricks, including data pipelines, ETL processes, and data lakes, while analyzing system integration challenges and collaborating with data engineers and IT teams to address technical issues and support infrastructure needs.
You will also be responsible for implementing data security and privacy protection measures, and developing strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and database implementation.
In addition, you will collaborate with data governance teams to ensure data solutions comply with banking regulations.
Lastly, you will monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Azure platform, Databricks, and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience with Azure services, including Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, Data Lake Store, Data Lake Analytics, Stream Analytics, Azure Storage, Cosmos DB, and Databricks.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions using Databricks, including Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow.
- Proven experience in data architecture and management, preferably within a cloud environment.
- Banking experience or a strong understanding of banking regulations is preferred.
