About the role
Affinity Pain Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinic Nurse (Enrolled Nurse/ Staff Nurse) to join our team in Farrer Park, Central Region. As a Clinic Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art pain management facility. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work alongside our experienced medical team and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients. The weekly working schedule is 5.5 days: Monday to Friday 8:30am -5:30pm (with a one-hour lunch break daily), Saturday 8:30am -12:30pm.
What you'll be doing
- Handles front desk registration of patients, schedule medical appointments, dispense medications and consumables and payment collection.
- Assisting doctors and other healthcare professionals in patient examinations and procedures.
- Verify patient's insurance coverage, assisting with the application process for insurance claims.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and providing ongoing observation and support.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, including documenting care, treatments, and any changes in condition.
- Coordinating with the wider healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment.
- Ensuring high-quality customer service, managing phone calls, reply emails, and dealing with various supplies.
- On call and hold clinic phone (alternate), reply the necessary questions.
- Perform any other related nursing duties when required.
