• Communicating with dispatchers and other staff members to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules.
• Keeping accurate records of trucking activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
• Interacting with clients, vendors, and other staff members professionally and courteously.
• Completing required paperwork and documentation, such as bills of lading and delivery receipts.
• Handling unexpected situations, such as traffic delays or mechanical problems, calmly and efficiently.
• Maintaining a clean and organised truck cab and cargo area.

• Safely transporting various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
• Assisting with the loading and offloading of products and materials.
• Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing.
• Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.

• Must have Singapore Class 4 driving licence.

• More than 2 years experience in driving of prime movers / tipper truck.
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate company truck (prime mover) for delivery and collection of chemicals and related products

• Adhere to scheduled delivery routes and timelines

• Comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and environmental regulations relating to the handling of chemicals

• Maintian cleanliness of the vehicle and ensure that it is in proper working condition

• Ensure proper doumentations are maintained for all deliveries.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Class 4 Singapore driving license

At least 3-year experience in driving a heavy vehicle

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Min 3 years of experience in related industry, with Indoor and Outdoor sales experience
• Class 3 / Class 4 Driving Licence compulsory; Company's vehicle is not allowed to drive home
• Preferably with Fork Lift Licence. Assist with packaging and using forklift in warehouse as and when required or during free time.
• Willing to do rotating shift work. Field work required. Need to do assist with delivery when urgency of goods when required
• Able to work longer hours (when required/necessary) and have the flexibility to work wee hours in morning, late evenings, holidays and weekends with prolonged period of standing (strictly off day on weekdays)
• Physically Fit. Able to withstand loading/unloading of bulky goods for extended period
• Must have knowledge to control storage room temperatures for fruits, vegetables and chilled/frozen items.
• Ability to assess truck volume allotment to accurately cubic a truck.
• Knowledge of GPS equipment and knows Singapore road maps well.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform assigned driving duties as directed by the Supervisor, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
• Load and unload donated items safely at designated collection points and deliver them to Thrift Stores, Centres, or other assigned locations.
• Assist in clearing donation bins at various locations when required.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain and update necessary vehicle checklists, mileage logs, and records for accountability.
• Adhere to traffic regulations, workplace safety protocols, and operational guidelines to ensure smooth delivery operations.
• Report any vehicle issues, delays, or operational challenges to the Supervisor promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills & Competencies:

• Possess a valid Class 4 Singapore Driving Licence.
• At least 1-2 years of truck driving experience in logistics or delivery operations preferred.
• Familiarity with Singapore roads and traffic regulations.
• Ability to safely operate and maneuver trucks in various road conditions.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to perform daily checks and ensure roadworthiness.
• Physical fitness with the ability to handle and lift items up to 20kg for extended periods.
• Good time management and reliability to meet collection and delivery schedules.
• Able to speak and write simple English to communicate with team members and complete documentation.

Job Description & Requirements

1. Responsible for the safe operation of the lorry.

2. Liaise with the supervisor/manager concerned on the transportation operations.

3. Transport (i.e. collects and delivers) people / goods as directed.

4. Regularly clean and maintain the vehicle and checks / fills oil / water points / air pressure.

5. Maintain and record the vehicle logbook regularly.

6. Arrange the vehicles for regular servicing, repair & inspection whenever necessary.

7. Liable for full payment of traffic and vehicle emission pollution offences for non-compliance to government regulations.

8. Observe and practice all safe working procedures and PPE requirements of the plant.

9. To comply with the requirements and responsibilities as stated in the Risk Assessment (RA) with respect to your position in the company, which will be briefed to you.

10. Perform any other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor

Minimum Requirements

1. Secondary Level.

2. Minimum 1 year of driving experience with class 3/4/5 license.

3. Must have a valid driving license.
