Production Engineer

Position Summary

The Production Engineer is responsible for developing, refining, and coordinating production engineering projects, policies, processes, methods, and procedures. This role focuses on enhancing operational performance, reducing waste and delays, and driving cost efficiency across the organization. The engineer will support production transfers and implement process improvements to ensure smooth and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Process Optimization

· Apply expertise in manufacturing processes, tooling, production equipment, assembly methods, and quality standards to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

· Conduct time studies and analyze data across machines, assembly lines, and manual operations to identify areas for improvement.

· Use statistical methods to determine root causes of failures, recommend corrective actions, and optimize product specifications.

· Provide technical support and guidance on manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with best practices and standards.

· Design and implement new manufacturing methods, supporting product development and enhancing production capabilities.

Job Requirements

· Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).

· Minimum 3 years of experience in medical device manufacturing.

· Proven engineering management experience with strong cross-functional collaboration and process optimization skills.

· Proficiency in Lean, Kaizen, Kanban, and other advanced manufacturing methodologies.

· Strong knowledge of ISO 13485 and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
