Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and adaptable Bilingual Translator & Interpreter (English / Mandarin) to support cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, bilingual business environment. This role involves real-time translation and transcription during meetings, minute taking, translating and reviewing legal, corporate, and operational documents.

Key responsibilities

  1. Provide real-time interpretation between English and Mandarin during internal and external meetings.
  2. Accurately transcribe meeting discussions and take clear, structured minutes in both English and Mandarin.
  3. Translate business documents including contracts, agreements, legal documentation, and internal communications.
  4. Ensure that all translations are contextually accurate and culturally appropriate.
  5. Review and proofread translated materials for grammar, terminology, tone, and accuracy.
  6. Work closely with legal and commercial teams to ensure clarity in all bilingual communications.
  7. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  8. Support ad hoc translation and interpretation tasks as required.
  9. Travel as needed for business meetings or assignments.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a corporate or legal environment.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin.
  • Prior experience in contract/legal document translation is a strong advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interpret with cultural sensitivity and clarity.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel for business when required.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

We're looking for Educational Interpreters who are passionate in providing communication accessibility for students with hearing loss (HL) via the medium of Singapore Sign Language (SgSL) in a mainstream school. Make a difference in the lives of these students as you interpret (English Language to and from Singapore Sign Language) for lessons, school activities and programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide interpretation (English Language to and from SgSL) for lessons and all school activities and programmes
  2. Modify and align teaching strategies to suit the needs of HL students
  3. Work with school management to review and improve school systems/ processes in support for HL students
  4. Provide consultation and build capacity of teachers and other school personnel to support HL students
  5. Conduct and/or organise workshops for parents and families of HL students
  6. Attend and participate in SADeaf events and meetings

To succeed in this role, you should :

  1. Have achieved SgSL Course Level 3 or at least SEE2 Advanced Stage
  2. Have a diploma or degree in any field
  3. Have relevant qualifications and experience in teaching (preferred)
  4. Preferably have experience in interacting with the Deaf community

To succeed in this role, you should:
  1. Be fluent in English and competent in Singapore Sign Language (SgSL)

We are seeking a highly skilled Japanese-English Interpreter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Japanese and English, with the ability to accurately translate spoken and written communications in real-time during meetings, conferences, business negotiations, and other work-related settings. Interpretation Services:

Translation Support:

Documentation and Reporting:

Job Requirements

Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering and Manufacturing discipline is a plus.
  • Native or near-native fluency in both Japanese and English (both spoken and written).
  • Proven experience as an interpreter, preferably in a business or corporate setting.
  • Certification in interpretation (such as JLPT, NAATI, or other recognized credentials) is a plus.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

  • Experience in simultaneous or consecutive interpretation, particularly in business, legal, or technical settings.
  • Knowledge of business terminology, especially related to the industry or organization's field.
  • Familiarity with interpretation equipment (e.g., headsets, microphones) for events or large-scale meetings.
