Key Responsibilities
1. Programme Facilitation
- Conduct active ageing programmes within and beyond the centre to engage seniors.
- Provide befriending and buddying services to frail and vulnerable elderly in their homes.
- Coordinate and facilitate communal meals for seniors, including participant engagement, F&B ordering, and event setup
- Serve as a social connector, supporting seniors in adhering to health plan recommendations through social and lifestyle interventions.
- Conduct community outreach and assess the needs of elderly residents within the designated service area.
- Make referrals to appropriate services for elderly individuals in need of further assistance.
- Enrol new members, maintain accurate attendance records, visitation notes, and compile data or statistics required by funders.
- Manage invoicing, fee collection, cash handling, and banking.
- Oversee documentation, including report submissions, claims, and filing. Assist with audit preparations and documentation.
- Perform various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the centre.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the reporting officer.
- Relevant qualification in eldercare or social services
- At least 1 year of experience in direct operational roles, especially in eldercare, including programme facilitation and needs assessment
- Experience in stakeholder management, particularly with community partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong administrative and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented yet capable of working independently
