JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Perform aircraft maintenance and modification work

Identify different methods of repair

· Perform servicing of various aircraft components (e.g engines, airframes, wings, electrical systems, and systems, etc)

· Perform Full assembly/disassembly of aircraft components

· Inspect completed work to ensure that it meets performance standards

· Keeps records of maintenance and repair work

JOB REQUIREMENT:

· Possess NITEC/Diploma qualifications in Aerospace Engineering/Aerospace Electronics/ Aerospace Avionics Engineering/ Aeronautical Engineering

· Able to commit rotating shifts (Morning & afternoon shifts), if applicable

· Min. 4 years experience and more in the aviation industry

· Adaptable and able to work in a team

Job Requirements:

• Possess minimum Secondary Education

Position Summary

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and examine aircraft components for leaks, cracks, breaks or other issues.
• Read and utilize maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogues, service bulletins and other maintenance documents to troubleshoot and complete work assignments.
• Maintain, repair, and rebuild aircraft structures, functional components, and parts such as wings and fuselage, rigging, hydraulic units, oxygen systems, fuel systems, gaskets, and seals.
• Perform routine maintenance operations, such as the replacement of equipment's and aircraft components.
• Interpret specifications, or diagrams to inform installation, development or operation activities.
• Perform regular inspections to check for cracks, oil leaks, burned areas, foreign object damage, warping, distortions, missing segments and wear
• Complete all tasks in the allotted time frame and to the quality standards of our company
• Promote safety within the workplace by monitoring others and yourself to guarantee all tasks are performed within the safety manual guidelines, and communicate with other mechanics and supervisors to coordinate repairs and keep apprised of safety concerns
• Order supplies, equipment, materials and parts for repairs and general maintenance
• Keep detailed records of the inspections performed, repairs finished, maintenance procedures and ordered parts.

Qualification / Expertise / Skills

• Minimum ITE holder or GCE 'O' Level or Aerospace Engineering
• At least 5 years of experiences practical and documented aircraft maintenance experience
• Those with experience on any of the following type B737,A320,Fokker 100 & ATR would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Base Maintenance activities would be an added advantage.
