The Capsule Sales Executive & Sales Specialist is responsible for driving growth of the Capsule portfolio in ASEAN market by combining strong sales execution with deep product expertise. In this dual role, the individual will identify and develop new business opportunities, build and maintain strong customer relationships, and act as a trusted adviser across Acute Care. As a Sales Specialist, the role also enables the broader sales organization through specialized knowledge, supporting account executives in positioning Capsule effectively and demonstrating its unique value to healthcare providers. By balancing commercial drive with product expertise, the Sales Executive & Sales Specialist ensures that customers clearly recognize how Capsule enhances clinical workflows, improves patient outcomes, and delivers measurable value.
Your responsibilities includes the following:

Identify and convert new opportunities
Prospect and qualify new customer acquisition opportunities within Acute Care.
Define and execute account strategies across a range of healthcare providers (including market and competitor research).
Drive effective funnel management to meet Capsule sales targets and Philips business objectives.
Partner with business leaders and colleagues to ensure Capsule is positioned as a leading solution for clinical connectivity.
Act as a trusted adviser and product expert
Provide Capsule-specific expertise to support account executives throughout the sales cycle.
Demonstrate deep product knowledge and effectively tailor solutions to customer needs.
Educate and enable colleagues across the sales organization, ensuring consistent and accurate Capsule positioning.
Establish meaningful customer partnerships
Engage with a wide range of stakeholders, from clinical users to C-suite executives.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer challenges and future needs.
Show how Capsule improves clinical workflows, patient safety, and operational efficiency.
Lead negotiations and close deals
Secure mutually beneficial terms with customers.
Ensure Capsule contracts support sustainable growth and profitability.
Collaborate and deliver on shared goals
Work closely with Philips sales leaders and the wider team to deliver Capsule business objectives.
Maintain accurate Salesforce.com data for forecasting and reporting.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following:
Qualifications
Preferred bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
Proven track record in creating and executing account plans, achieving sales objectives, and delivering commercial targets.
Experience selling healthcare IT solutions, ideally within clinical or hospital environments.
Strong understanding of the hospital ecosystem and acute care workflows.
Ability to manage a complex software sales funnel and prioritize opportunities effectively.
Deep customer orientation, with proven ability to cultivate senior stakeholder relationships (including C-suite).
Capacity to combine executive-level sales skills with specialist product expertise to influence decision-making.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
Resilient, adaptable sales mindset in dynamic healthcare environments.
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
Commitment to quality-first and patient safety principles.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
