What the role is

The National Arts Council seeks an intern who is keen to support the Singapore Art Week (SAW) team and the broader Visual Arts team. As SAW takes place in January, candidates must be prepared for extended working hours during this period.

What you will be working on

  • Support the SAW team in the delivery of the marketing and communications campaign
  • Assist in data collation, data entry and maintenance of SAW events database across stakeholders including arts groups, partners, and cultural institutions
  • Maintain and update content for the SAW website
  • Assist the SAW team in publicity matters which may include development of visual communication and social media content, such as EDMs
  • Assist the Visual Arts team through research, data entry and visualisation of visual arts statistics in recent years
  • Support the Visual Arts team in various projects, events and initiatives as needed

What we are looking for

  • Available for a minimum commitment period of 6 months

What the role is

The National Arts Council seeks an experienced Manager to work in its Visual Arts Division to enable the growth and development of the Singapore Visual Arts Sector through the formulation of policies, strategies, and grants administration. The Manager will be engaging with partners, stakeholders and grant applicants for a range of evaluation of funding proposals and ensuring good governance and adherence to funding conditions for funded projects. The Manager will provide support to some of the Division's initiatives that include the Singapore Art Week, Public Art initiatives and thought leadership efforts.

What you will be working on

  • Supporting the day-to-day evaluation, monitoring and administration of NAC's funding and grant schemes.
  • Working closely with grantees to ensure funded projects and programs reach conclusion. Work with Support Officer in general administration and grants-related matters.
  • Working with the team to ensure relevant information is recorded to information management systems, demonstrating timeliness, attention to detail and accurate records management, with careful attention to understanding privacy requirements.
  • Contributing to regular weekly, monthly and annual reporting requirements for Fund program activities.

  • Keeping abreast of international trends and developments to contribute ideas towards programme and industry development.

What we are looking for

  • Good knowledge of the Singapore Visual arts landscape is highly preferred.

Role Overview

Lead the development and amplification of visual identity. Own our content, storytelling, community engagement, and educational platform strategy — both digitally and in-person.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Identity

  • Define and continuously evolve brand positioning to reflect its vision, values, and unique proposition within the longevity and health optimisation space.
  • Establish and maintain the brand's visual identity across all platforms, ensuring consistency in design.
  • Develop a robust brand architecture and visual framework that resonates with both B2C and B2B audiences across regional markets.

Art Direction & Storytelling

  • Lead the art direction and execution of artwork encompassing educational, inspirational, and community-focused content.
  • Manage end-to-end content production including ideation, storyboarding, art direction, design and production.
  • Oversee the creation of multi-format content (e.g. video, guides, articles, podcasts) aligned to the consumer decision journey — from awareness to advocacy.
  • Leverage storytelling to humanise science and technology, spotlight clinical expertise, and bring consumer success stories to life.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with:

  • Growth Marketing to integrate brand storytelling into paid performance campaigns and creative testing.
  • CRM and Lifecycle Marketing to ensure consistent visual language throughout the customer journey.
  • Clinical & Comms Team to design authentic content for health experts and internal culture initiatives.
Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 8+ years in brand, content, or art direction roles, ideally in Healthtech, wellness, or consumer brands.
  • Strong track record in brand building, storytelling, and multi-channel content design and execution.
  • Experience growing and managing digital and in-person communities.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to simplify complex ideas into engaging narratives.
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for health and longevity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
