In this role the successful person will directly lead all aspects of the supply chain within the Travel Retail business in Asia (China, South Korea, South East Asia, Pacific Region). The scope covers S&OP, customer services, as well as a matrix responsibility on logistics, transport and customs clearance.
The role has a regional scope and as such requires significant direct and matrix management including the key interfaces into the global supply teams as well as the regional Logistics. · Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end SAP SCM (MM, PM, WM) solution design and delivery for public sector organisations in Singapore.
- Drive migration of legacy SAP ECC environments to SAP S/4HANA (for MM, PM, WM modules), including data migration strategy, cutover planning, and change management.
- Define and document business requirements and translate them into technical & functional specifications.
- Conduct workshops with stakeholders to understand procurement, maintenance, warehouse, asset management, inventory, and logistics business processes.
- Establish and enforce best practices, governance, and standards for solution architecture, module configuration, integration, performance, scalability, security.
- Work on integration with other modules (FI, PP, SD, QM etc.), and third-party systems or vendors as needed.
- Support pre-sales activities: proposal writing, vendor evaluations, cost/benefit/risk assessments, POCs/demos.
- Manage and coordinate with multiple teams: implementation consultants, basis / technical teams, middleware / integration, testing and quality assurance.
- Lead performance tuning, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement post-go-live.
- Mentor, coach, and lead junior and mid-level functional consultants and solution architects; ensure knowledge transfer and build internal capability.
- Ensure compliance with public sector procurement policies, security requirements, regulatory and audit standards applicable to Singapore (e.g. data privacy, government policy).
- Maintain documentation for architecture, configuration, processes, operations, support handovers.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 15-18 years’ experience specifically in SAP SCM (MM, WM, PM) functional/architectural roles.
- Large number of years in projects involving Singapore Public Sector (government agencies, statutory boards, or related bodies).
- Proven track record of multiple full cycle implementations of SAP (ECC → S/4HANA) in SAP MM, PM, WM.
- Strong knowledge of public sector processes, policies, procurement, asset management, inventory, warehouse, maintenance operations.
- Deep experience configuring MM, PM, WM modules; setting up integrations (for example, for warehouse management, asset or maintenance, procurement, logistics).
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement (government departments, vendor partners, internal/external teams).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem solving, analytical skills; ability to make sound technical decisions considering cost, risk, and quality.
- Ability to lead teams; mentor and develop capability in others.
- Familiarity with SAP best practices, SAP Activate methodology (or other SAP project delivery frameworks).
- Awareness of Singapore government standards: data protection (PDPA), cybersecurity, audit / compliance frameworks.
Preferred / Nice-to-have
- Experience with Extended Warehouse Management (eWM) or embedded WM in S/4HANA.
- Experience with SAP Fiori / UI5 for SAP SCM user interfaces.
- Exposure to SAP Analytics, Reporting tools (SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud).
- Experience in agile / hybrid project methodologies, working with large multi-vendor ecosystems.
- Certification in SAP MM, PM, WM, or SAP Solution Architect.

Job Description
- Lead trade compliance activities (STC), ensuring full adherence to import/export regulations and Free Trade Agreement (FTA) requirements across the Southeast Asia region.
- Manage and analyze supply chain data to produce insightful, up-to-date reports that support operational improvements.
- Design and maintain visual dashboards for effective management reporting and performance tracking.
- Drive supply chain initiatives at ESP to ensure cost-efficiency, quality, and full regulatory compliance.
- Ensure all departmental regulations, processes, and workflows are regularly reviewed and updated in line with policy and regulatory changes.
- Conduct training and internal audits to reinforce compliance and operational standards.
- Maintain full compliance with trade regulations and chemical controls, achieving zero compliance incidents.
- Develop and implement customized BI dashboards and reports to improve supply chain data visibility and strategic decision-making.
- Identify areas for improvement through data-driven analysis and lead initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure timely follow-through and successful completion of assigned projects.
- Oversee the continuous alignment of SCM processes and workflows with current business and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver SEC-defined compliance training programs and facilitate STC/BCP audits in collaboration with regional ESC teams.
- Implement tailored internal control procedures to support corporate governance and risk management.
