- Keep abreast on competitors' development in terms of pricing, staff movement, change of leadership, product changes, promotions and site inspection etc.
- Attend trade shows/ workshops/ seminars and any sales mission as designated by Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Ensure clean data of all accounts in the system including his/ her team members.
- Actively involved in ensuring prompt attention and follow up on incoming phone calls, site inspections, proposal/ inquiries. Accuracy in bookings, commitments to customer on all sales/ operational documents and adhering to standards set by the department in execution and filing of all the said documents and to maintain daily activity and call reports.

About the Role:
Assistant Sales Manager / Sales Manager
The Sales Department is responsible for driving revenue and securing bookings for the hotel through direct sales, relationship management and ensuring all client enquiries and bookings are managed in a proactive manner that exceeds guest expectations.
The Assistant Sales Manager / Sales Manager prospect and sells to individual Corporate Negotiated accounts or Group Bookings on behalf of the hotel in accordance with the objectives established in the marketing plan. The Assistant Sales Manager / Sales Manager will ensure that sales activities, top accounts and bookings are focused to yield maximum revenue per available room.
What you will do:
This position will support the Sales team by driving business growth through proactive sales strategies, client engagement, and maintaining long-term relationships.
You will be responsible for generating new business and nurturing existing client relationships, responding to inquiries, conducting site inspections and hosting entertainment at Food & Beverage Outlets.
The role will include tracking and managing sales activities, maintaining proper client records, and being able to travel for Hotel's proposed sales trips where required.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, negotiating sales contracts, and working closely with the Conference Services team to ensure the smooth execution of Group events.
Client engagement, communication, successful planning and relationship building are core aspects of this role.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in hotel sales, including at least 1 year in a similar capacity in a luxury brand.
A proactive and customer-oriented mind set with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the luxury hospitality sector.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management capabilities with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple accounts in a detailed manner.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively is key
