The role is with a billion dollar SI in Singapore.

You will act as business owner for assigned accounts, managing P&L and client relationships at at exec level. You will proactively identify new and expansion opportunities on accounts . Role Responsibilities

Job Requirements

  • MBA or equivalent Degree

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a client facing role in a consulting firm or an account/engagement management role in the IT professional services offshore/outsourcing industry.

  • Experience managing Client P&L including reporting and metric assessment for the account.

  • Extensive sales experience with Public Sector, Govt agencies and stat boards

  • Extensive experience with Singapore public sector procurements processes such as bulktentders and spend categories.

  • Experience and pre-existing connections with at least one functional area within public sector such as Finance, Helatchare etc

  • Experience in account management, domain consulting, business development activities in IT service industry with track record in managing local clients

  • Experience of sourcing and loading to closure pursuite of 50Mil USD and above.

  • Strong knowledge of Singapore market across technology and business segments and industries

  • Experience navigating in a large organization and working in a multi-dimensional matrix

  • Strong negotiation, communication and facilitation skills

  • Experience in an onsite / offshore model

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management :

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, fostering a positive and long-lasting relationship.
  • Ensure that clients are satisfied with the products and services provided by the company.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Sales & Revenue Growth :

  • Identify new opportunities within existing accounts for upselling and cross-selling products or services.
  • Proactively manage client renewals and work to achieve set sales targets.
  • Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and quotes for client review.

Reporting & Analysis :

  • Regularly monitor and report on the status of client accounts, including any potential risks or opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams to help improve service delivery and client satisfaction.

Strategic Planning :

  • Help develop account plans that detail how the company will meet client goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to business strategy development based on market and client insights.

Project Coordination :

  • Work closely with internal teams, including project managers, marketing, and technical support, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage expectations of clients and internal stakeholders regarding project timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education : Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity/Business & Marketing, or a related field.

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in account management, sales, or client-facing roles.

Skills :

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts/projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Overall Purpose of The Role

As an Account Manager, we look to you to proactively help your Account Director manage your teams and clients to deliver the best solutions that We Are Social can offer. You will manage the day-to-day demands of your clients, and it is your responsibility to ensure that your tasks are completed within given timelines, budgets and the exceptionally high standard expected from our clients. You need to conduct business effectively with attention to detail and accuracy in all communication, both internal and external. You will also be checking on the accuracy and standards of work of your Account Executive.

We expect you to stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and to share your knowledge with both your team and others within the organisation. We are looking to you to keep your Account Director and clients updated and engaged with relevant industry practice.

Your key duties will include:

  • Management of the day-to-day operational activities such as:

  • Coordination of social media content validation workflow based on client brand governance guidelines and platform optimisation principles, including communication between client teams and internal agency teams related to this workflow

  • Coordination of social media content publishing and scheduling, asset trafficking and Quality Assurance at the pre-publishing and post-publishing stages, including communication between client teams and internal agency teams in relation to this workflow
  • Social media channel hygiene management such as upkeep of channel touchpoints and metadata optimisation

  • Upkeep of process checklists and platform optimisation guidance

  • Status and other reporting, both internally and externally
  • Attending client meetings
  • Ensuring that all activity follows sign-off processes
  • Managing the work priorities of yourself and your team
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements

What are we looking for?

  • Experience owning and managing senior client relationships
  • Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound
  • Understand the social media universe
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment
  • Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to communicate results to management in a fast-paced environment
