Description

* Lead and develop a team of data analysts based in Singapore, providing guidance, support and mentorship * Define strategy & vision for the Data & Insight team in the areas of analytics, reporting and AI/ML * Act as business partner to Sales leaders; engage regularly to understand opportunities and challenges * Form a deep understanding of Apple Sales business, and support business decisions by translating complex data insights into clear, actionable strategies * Supervise or directly manage projects to create new reports and dashboards supporting the business, or roll-out WW reporting solutions in our region * Define South-East Asia Sales AI/ML roadmap and build up capabilities within the team * Develop partnership with Apple IT team and keep on point on latest in-house technology * Act as a liaison with WW Data & Insight teams to facilitate communication and knowledge sharing * Own and manage portfolio of data management and sales ops processes run by the team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in the retail industry
  • 12+ years of experience in data & insight, reporting, data analysis, business intelligence or similar positions - with 5+ years in a manager position
  • Solid business acumen, with proven ability to understand various business situations effectively and make sound judgments and decisions
  • Extensive data management skills, including but not limited to data analysis, data modeling, database management, data governance, and proficiency with tools such as SQL, Excel or Tableau
  • Experience with AI/ML models and their application in data management and insights generation
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, delegate and implement strategies, programs and projects successfully
  • Proven people management skills, building capabilities of individuals and team through effective employee development, involvement, communication and mentorship
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with UI/UX development, including data visualisation design
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages, such as Python
    Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies, including data pipelines, model development, and deployment workflows; familiarity with modern ML tools, frameworks, and platforms is plus

  • Aggressively building your own sales pipeline, from prospecting to closing high-value enterprise deals
  • Developing and expanding long-term relationships with key accounts to drive repeat business and upsell opportunities
  • Taking full ownership of meeting and exceeding sales quotas and revenue goals
  • Working with our marketing and data analytics teams to refine offerings based on real-time market feedback

To be considered for this role of a Data Sales Specialist , you would have:

  • B2B sales experience of at least 4 years with a proven track record in data solutions or information services

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Associate Practice Engagement Manager to drive sales and client engagement in the areas of data transformation, analytics, and cloud migration .

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in selling and managing large-scale data analytics and cloud transformation projects across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of data transformation and analytics solutions (including cloud migration and modernization).
  • Engage with clients to identify needs, define opportunities, and deliver tailored transformation services.
  • Lead consultative sales conversations and present value propositions to senior stakeholders (up to C-Suite).
  • Manage and grow client relationships, ensuring delivery excellence across large-scale data projects.

Job Requirements
  • Proven track record in sales of data analytics and transformation services within IT services companies.

  • Deep understanding of data lifecycle, data analytics, and cloud-based data platforms .
  • Demonstrated success in consultative selling and closing large deals.
