With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The Surfscan group includes a team of engineers, technology development, apps engineers and product marketing focused on technology that enables wafer, IC and equipment manufacturers to develop, qualify and monitor their process tools. Defects and process non-uniformities detected on Surfscan equipment allow for early identification of yield excursions. Surfscan-ADE is looking to hire an energetic, self-driven individual to be part of a team of remote systems engineers who will work closely with service teams and customers to identify and implement product improvements which will lead to long-term product adoption and customer success. These activities will include the development and release of new options, features or other improvements that provide more value to our customers. Integral to this role is an understanding of the customers use-case and successfully working in conjunction with other groups to define the requirements. Must have the ability to follow through and release / support these product enhancements effectively. Trains service and manufacturing employees. Required to travel to customer sites to efficiently and effectively resolve technical issues (Fly and Fix) during and after product release.
Requirements:
- Preferred (not mandatory) work experiences in semiconductor processing or equipment industry.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Must have excellent communication, organizational, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be self-driven, and a strong team player.
- Good hands-on ability with demonstrated success on hardware related projects
- Up to 60% of world-wide travelling would be required.
- Bachelor’s in Engineering (Preferably in the field of Physics, Electrical, Mechanical or Material Science)
