opportunity to teach online at Cosmo 1:1 (formerly ClassUp), the premiere online learning platform that connects K-12 students with tutors from US/Canada universities for personalized lessons. As a tutor for Cosmo 1:1, you will have a flexible schedule that you set. We teach math, ELA, and SAT prep, with Cosmo-provided learning plans.
Responsibilities
Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students
Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability
Submit Class Feedback after each lesson

Qualifications
Bachelors degree or Masters degree from a US, Canadian, UK, or Australian college/university or a Bachelors degree from listed Singapore "Big 6" colleges including National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore Management University (SMU), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS)
3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in math, ELA, or SAT prep
Experience with K-12 ELA/Math standards
Teaching license preferred but not required
Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC
Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching with Cosmo 1:1
Available between 6-9 AM EST or 3-10 PM EST on Monday through Friday or during the weekends
Minimum of 20 hours of availability on a weekly basis
Access to a private and quiet location

Overall Responsibilities

• To teach and educate students according to guidelines provided by the school’s curricular programmes
• To teach and educate students according to the educational needs, abilities and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to his/her care by the Head of School.
• To promote the school's ideals as well as the characteristics and attitude of the learners.
• Always maintain rigorous and appropriate learning expectations of all students.

Includes the below but not limited to –

• Teach across the whole age groups.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years or more relevant full-time teaching experience as a qualified teacher.

You will deliver and facilitate drama based programs to various age groups based on the Academy’s approved syllabus, teaching methods, and materials. You are expected to maintain high professional standards and actively contribute to the Academy’s educational, creative, and administrative goals
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching and Lesson Preparation:
o Conduct drama programs for various age groups as prescribed by the Academy.

Overview
