Position available: Perm / Locum
Location: Orchard
Specialisation: Geriatrics / Paediatrics
Setting: Specialised clinics (Children and General Patients)
Working hours: (Perm) 5 days per week | (Locum) Flexible schedule
Salary: Up to $7000 (Depending on experience)
Responsibilities
- Conducting Speech Therapy assessments and providing therapy in a 1:1 setting. Caseload includes dysphagia, dysarthria, aphasia, dysphonia, adult speech improvement, stuttering etc.
- Provide therapy at settings beneficial to the client, e.g. our clinic, client's home or doctor's clinic
- Working closely with other professionals such as Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists to provide holistic care for our clients
- Working with team leaders and management to continually improve the working environment for staff and quality of our services for clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or masters in Speech Therapy.
- AHPC full registration
- At least 2 years of working experience working with either Geriatrics / Paediatrics or both will be an added advantage
- Previous experience in a hospital environment and/or community setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Develop and implement personalised treatment plans based on assessment findings and clinical judgment
- Provide direct therapy services to children using evidence-based interventions and techniques
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to establish goals and promote carryover of skills into the home environment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluation results and case notes.
- Communicate effectively with team members, including SPED teachers and speech-language pathologists to ensure coordinated care.
- Stay current with best practices, emerging research, and trends in paediatric occupational therapy

The Clinical Psychologist will provide clinical assessment and psychological intervention to improve the mental health of children and adolescents in schools.
To formulate and develop care management plans for referred students in collaboration with community partners, and support Allied Educators in schools to manage students with mental health conditions. The Clinical Psychologist will also be involved in developing a mental health network for children and adolescents in the community.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Masters/Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology or Education Psychology from a recognized university.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work independently in a multidisciplinary team, as well as with professionals from other organizations.
- Proficiency in Communication skills (spoken and written). Second Language (spoken) is preferred.
- Well-developed clinical assessment and formulation skills.
- Experience in conducting cognitive and academic assessments is preferred.
- Eligibility for a valid registration, license, or practicing certificate with an established or recognized psychological professional body such as SRP, APA, APS, or BPS.
