You will be a key member in the Industrial Engineering team that is responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process and ensuring that it is optimized to maximise efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This role will support the team in analysing and optimising warehouse automated systems to improve warehouse operations efficiency and capacity, as well as handle related continuous improvement initiatives.
Data Analysis, Design & Optimization
- Analyse, improve the process and systems within the supply chain, in a way that fosters collaboration, communication and continuous improvement to optimize the entire supply chain process.
- Conduct time motion studies to identify bottlenecks inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement in the warehouse processes.
- Utilise data analysis tools and software to generate reports, analyse trends, and make data-driven recommendations for process optimisation.
- Utilise industrial engineering principles to develop and implement best practices for warehouse operations optimisation.
- To articulate practical recommendations for business requirements and demonstrating an ability to address pain points & issues.
- Engage and partner with key stakeholders and operators on automation projects to understand stakeholders’ requirements and vendor capabilities.
- Collaborate with Automation Vendors to develop new process with key stakeholders e.g. operations team for new automation technologies.
- Provide training and support to operations on new processes, equipment and automation technologies to ensure successful implementation
Assist in CI/Automation Project Management
- Assist in Continuous Improvement / Automation projects from planning to implementation, manage resource plan, cost, timeline and across all related work streams and functions.
- Assist to communication of projects to various stakeholders and collection of feedbacks
- Assist in regular status reporting on project implementation progress to project stakeholders and sponsor(s) to enable overall project progress monitoring.
- Assist in documentation of project plans, action item lists, follow-ups etc.
- Any other adhoc duties and projects as assigned

- Work location: 7 Sunview Road (The position might be required to travel locally to other distribution centres / warehouses for business needs)
- Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8:15am - 5:35pm
Requirements
- Min 3 years of Logistic industry working experience (preferable warehouse related)
- Working experience related to supply chain optimization and projects management will be a plus
- Degrees in Industrial Engineering, Logistics/Supply Chain related disciplines are preferred
- Strong Analysis skills (Excel is a basic requirement; other data analytics tool will be a plus)
- Strong communication, reporting and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge in project management, process improvement, lean & six-sigma will be a plus

Industrial Engineer will support the Industrial Engineering Department in planning, designing, implementing and managing; integrated, production and service delivery systems that assure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence and cost control within the production site.
Main focus: conducts studies to determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow and recommends methods for maximum utilization of production equipment and personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Monitor and continuously improve daily quality/efficiency performance for assigned areas.
· Design and procure production tooling, processing equipment and workstations.
· Coordinate layout and workstation move activities.
· Prepares time estimates for proposed projects and evaluates time factors.
· Minimize change over time by ensuring programs use common set-ups where possible.
· Verify that machine maintenance is being performed on schedule.
· Reduce machine-generated scrap by monitoring machine management data and taking corrective action to improve or correct the operations.
· Reduce manual assembly scrap by monitoring quality data and taking corrective action to improve or correct the operations.
· Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
· Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
· Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
· May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
· Key Requirements:
o Understanding and application of broad range of industrial engineering tools (ie. Work measurement, process mapping, facilities and workstation design, etc.)
o Understanding of Jabil’s global strategies and direction
o Understanding of site’s facilities, capabilities and how they tie back to the Jabil strategies and direction
o Strong analytical ability
o Able to implement continuous improvements and cost reduction programs
o Good communication skills
· Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD skills required.
