Prepare and process transactions and other fund accounting output for review.
Provide support to respond to client and investor queries.
Prepare/review fee calculations (management fees, capital call amounts, distribution amounts, carried interest and waterfall) and verify that calculations are in accordance with the applicable fund terms.
Prepare/review various statements and notices including but not limited to investor capital call and distribution notices.Prepare ad-hoc requests regarding fund and investor specific reports as well as analysis.Prepare fund's quarterly and annual financial reports.
Prepare/review SPV accounting.
Understand and assist clients with other reporting, such as CRS/FATCA, VAT, K1s, K3s etc.
Assist clients to address and resolve audit inquiries from external auditors during year-end audit.Participate in pre-project stage discussion with the clients and to define more detailed services model for specific clients as required.
Assist the onboarding of existing funds and the launch of new funds.
Participate in internal as well as external technology solutions to address complex reporting and data requirements of clients.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Commerce or Finance or a related degree with a major in Accounting.
An internationally recognized accounting qualification or undertaking of such professional qualifications such as CPA, CA is highly regarded.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting with a specialty in private equity, or a combination of audit/fund administration and private equity funds experience is highly regarded.
Knowledge of different accounting standards (IFRS, USGAAP).
