**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer with SCEM (Singapore Certified Energy Manager) certification to join our facilities management team in a high-tech semiconductor manufacturing environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing critical facilities systems, driving energy efficiency initiatives, and ensuring reliable, safe, and compliant operations across our plant infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead day-to-day operations and maintenance of facilities systems including HVAC, fire systems, and cleanroom environments
+ Oversee contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with EHS regulations, company SOPs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
+ Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives in line with the SCEM framework, including energy audits, reporting, and project execution.
+ Provide technical support for facility upgrades and capacity planning to support manufacturing expansion and yield improvements.
+ Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for facilities-related incidents and system anomalies.
+ Ensure compliance with local regulations, including NEA, BCA, PUB, and relevant ISO standards.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing team, different business groups, and EHS to support smooth operations.
+ Participate in emergency response and facilities crisis management activities as needed.
**Requirements**
+ Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering or a related field.
+ SCEM (Singapore Certified Energy Manager) certification is mandatory.
+ 3-5 years of relevant experience in facilities management within a semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environment.
+ Strong knowledge of building management systems (BMS), cleanroom protocols, and critical utilities infrastructure.
+ Familiarity with EHS regulations, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001and energy management practices.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
+ Able to work on-call rotation and respond to off-hour emergencies if required.
