I am responsible for supporting the digital shopping experience (merchandising, marketing and checkout) for the ecommerce business, as well as driving the KPIs for customer satisfaction and online performance in my country. This leadership position is expected to provide significant input and contribution to the overall strategic and operational direction of the Decathlon digital commerce function.

RESPONSIBILITY 1

Our client is seeking an E-Commerce Manager to join their team

What you'll be doing?
  • Strategy Development: Craft and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to boost online revenue and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Platform Management: Oversee the company's e-commerce platforms, ensuring optimal user experience, site performance, and conversion rates across multiple countries.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, merchandising, and other teams to enhance sales, product listings, content, and website functionality.
  • Digital Marketing Leadership: Spearhead digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and paid advertising to drive traffic and increase sales.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor key metrics, provide insights, and recommend improvements to continuously enhance e-commerce operations.
  • Innovation Implementation: Identify and integrate new technologies and strategies to stay ahead in the ever-evolving e-commerce landscape.
  • Partnership Management: Lead and nurture e-commerce partnerships, marketplaces, and third-party integrations to expand the company's online presence.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and e-commerce regulations across all platforms and operations.
Who are they looking for?
  • E-commerce Expertise: At least 3 to 5 years of experience managing e-commerce operations, preferably in the Fashion/Retail/FMCG industry.
  • Platform Proficiency: Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce, with experience managing company-owned websites.
  • Digital Marketing Savvy: Proven experience in SEO/SEM, UI/UX, and proficiency with Google Analytics and other analytical tools.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively, with excellent project management and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strategic Mindset: Capacity to develop and execute e-commerce strategies that drive substantial online revenue growth.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.
  • Marketplace Knowledge: Experience with online marketplaces like Lazada, Shopee, or Amazon is advantageous but not required.
